This is a great hotel! It is very well located. It is close to the Plaza de Armas and it is far enough from the nightclubs so you are not bothered at all by the noise. The staff was friendly, the rooms are clean and big. Breakfast was good. The only thing is that you need to be ready for...

This 400-year old stone house, open to the sky on all three levels of the courtyard (off which the rooms are located), is beautifully restored, and is about 3 blocks from the main Plaza d'Armas up a steep, one-way street. The biggest disappointment was poor communications. On arrival, after a delayed flight and NO luggage, we were left standing in...

Such a convenient location combined with a tastefully decorated, quiet peaceful atmosphere sure made for a lovely evening respite after busy days in Cusco. There was a vast selection for breakfast, which was just right for setting off for packed days of touring. The hot showers and hot water bottles at night kept me toasty warm. Overall really appreciated the...

My wife and I stayed at three different hotels while in Cusco, as well as one in Aguas Calientes, and I can say we really enjoyed our experience at the Rumi Wazi. First, the layout of the place is unique, as you enter from an otherwise ordinary doorway on the street, but then go down 3 floors to the main...

Breakfast starts at 5 which is good for tours and is quite sufficient..the staff was very helpful. We had breakfast in our room. Fro the outside this hotel does not look like much but inside is a...

From the first day that we arrived until our last day there, the staff at Rumi Wasi was extremely attentive to all of our needs and requests. The rooms are very charming and clean. Our favorite part would have to be the showers, they've been the best ones during our time in Peru. Since the rooms are cold, the staff...

The hotel is really nicely decorated, all new, with an amazing staff and very close to the main square in Cusco. That said, the rooms are slightly too cold being based in an old period building, and people walking in the street can be overheard directly from the room. Despite this, a great place to stay in Cusco.

My girlfriend and I loved everything about Rumi Wasi. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was incredible, the location was perfect, and the price was just right! The walk is up a short hill from the center of town. It was off the track of the 'tourist' section but still was plenty safe and secure. It's quite cold...

Quiet and convenient location, two blocks north of Plaza de Armas on Calle Suecia. Sacsayhuaman is a short hike north of the hotel. Breakfast is included and served at your choice of time and location (room or dining room). Rooms are very comfortable, including hot water bottles at night, electric oil heater, hair dryer, wi-fi, flat screen TV, hot showers,...

It was more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. Good location, as it was a short walk from the central Historical Square. The bed was warmed with hot water bottles, great since August is winter in Peru. One free taxi ride to or from the airport was included. They had cooked to order breakfast in your choice of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rumi Wasi (House of Stone) is a house with a colonial style built in the XVI century by Spanish conquerors and erected over Inca's terraces. The property was then bought by the San Roman-Vucetich family. Once the restoration was finished and after contemplating how beautiful it had been done, The San Roman-Vucetich family decided to share the warmth of its installations with Cusco visitors. Thus, we are waiting for you to enjoy a nice and comfortable atmosphere enriched for its architectural beauty, privileged view, history and tranquility. ... more   less
