Rumi Wasi has amazing staff! They really care about their guests and go the extra mile to make you comfortable. They did some almost ridiculous things for us like making us breakfast super early in the morning because we were leaving early for our next trip. They made sure they called us the night before and got our order and...

The balcony room was fantastic. Small, but very comfortable. The wifi signal was not strong, but useable in the room. The private balcony above our room was amazing. Great views over the city. A great place to sit and have a drink (temperature permitting). On returning after dinner, the room was cold (only 3 C outside) so I dived into...

The rooms were very homey and the staff were welcoming. We had our breakfast delivered to our rooms so we could eat while preparing for our day or just hang out in our pajamas. We stayed here both before and after our trek and the first room was the terrace room. The room and view was amazing though it is...

A friend and I were lucky to stay at Rumi Wasi in January. Although a bit hard to find to find at first, as it seems to blend in with the other properties on the street, once you open that blue door you are pleasantly surprised to a find a lovely little courtyard with the rooms all around on the...

Cute place off the main square in Cusco. It appears small from the doorway but once inside there are quite a lot of rooms. You check in and decide what you want for breakfast the next morning and at what time. The shower was AMAZING! We stayed here the night we got back from hiking the 4 day Inka Trail...

I don’t usually write reviews on tripadvisor unless my experience had been great, in this case everything was just perfect, the location is convenient (just two blocks from plaza de armas), bed sheets and pillow cases were super clean and smelled nice, personnel was nice and went the extra mile to all our requests.

I stayed at Rumi Wasi 2 nights before heading to Machu Picchu. I was instantly attracted by the beautiful architecture of this 17th century house turned B&B. It has been beautifully restored and exquisitely decorated to the last detail. Our room was very charming and comfortable. There is even one room with its own private terrace overlooking the city. The...

Stayed here for a night after Machu Picchu. The property is up a hill from the center of town. Super cozy rooms that are decorated with local art (which can be purchased). Breakfast included and we ate on the top deck with some incredible views. This is the type of property I would love to own.

Wow! This property is the epitome of hospitality. Yes, it is up a hill (not steep) from Plaza de Armas, but it drove me to write my first hotel review ever. Before our arrival, we had corresponded with the hotel inquiring about transportation TO the airport (they offer free pickup but we were arriving by car), and a surprise for...

Fantastic staff - helpful, friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Taking your breakfast order in the evening, putting hot water bottles in your bed at night, felt totally at home! Was a home from home. Ok so only picky comment, milk and butter would have been better at breakfast than marg and condensed, but hey that is trying...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rumi Wasi (House of Stone) is a house with a colonial style built in the XVI century by Spanish conquerors and erected over Inca's terraces. The property was then bought by the San Roman-Vucetich family. Once the restoration was finished and after contemplating how beautiful it had been done, The San Roman-Vucetich family decided to share the warmth of its installations with Cusco visitors. Thus, we are waiting for you to enjoy a nice and comfortable atmosphere enriched for its architectural beauty, privileged view, history and tranquility. ... more   less
