I had a great experience at the Qespi Restaurant & Bar. My friends and I loved the food and service so much, that we came three times during our stay in Cusco. Leonidas (our server) was welcoming, warm and helpful with great recommendations of food and drinks. Martin (the manager) made sure we had a great experience while there. If...

Stayed here twice - one night on each side of a visit to Machu Pichu. Staff was great with organizing hired car pick-ups, upgrading our accomodations and making sure we all felt welcome. Hotel food (breakfast buffet and dinner in bar) was great. A beautiful hotel in a great location to explore Cusco! THANK YOU!

We stayed for four nights and had three rooms. Agree with other comments about the hotel grounds and service being 5star, but the rooms average. We did have the cheapest rooms, with small windows. On the negative, Empty mini bar, sliding glass door to the bathroom is so noisy, as is the air conditioning. On the plus: fantastic staff (Omar...

This hotel is the perfect blend of history and modernity. Previously it was a convent, so it has old bones and a beautiful courtyard. The staff is wonderful. Cusco is very high in altitude so the hotel adds oxygen to the air conditioning / heat which helped us not feel so out of breath. The location is great too, a...

Stayed at mariott for 3 nights in Cusco. The hotel is sublime, luxurious, well decorated and all. Really can't complain about anything re the hotel in itself. Food was also good (breakfast, dinner), which is nice as well. Our room was quiet, after having asked to change as our first room was on the street, so know that you may...

I stayed at the JW for 2 weeks in Nov for work. The staff is so wonderful and the location can't be beat. The hotel was an old convent that had been refurbished. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you need! The breakfast every morning was also fantastic. Don't skimp in Cusco and stay at one of the...

I must thank you Hotel and its staff. I spend my points as Gold Marriot member in the family trip for 6 nights in December. We were blessed with an upgrade to a Suite 82 which had a Inca wall inside as well a pre inca wall. Just marvelous!. Thank You. All staff was very service driven and helpful all...

The hotel is one of the top 5 hotels in Cusco with great staff, restaurants and public areas. If traveling as a single person or a couple, it should be a great choice if you don't mind a small room that's somewhat outdated. The rooms are only three stars and public areas are five. The sliding door don't work in...

This Marriott Cusco El Convento Hotel is in my "best ever" list. All around, it was a great experience. I was very impressed from Minute One: the very hospitable transport staff from the airport, the coca tea that welcomed me on arrival (which greatly helped my mild altitude sickness), the stupendous Swarovski crystal fixture behind the receptionists, the fireplaces and...

I simply cannot say enough about this property! As a Lifetime status and Platinum Marriott member, I've certainly spent a decent portion of my adult life as a Marriott guest in properties all over the US and the globe. The El Convento takes the cake. There are plenty more grand or sparkly, but nothing compares. As many have mentioned, the...
