The room was simple, but served our purposes well. The building itself is fascinating, and has a rooftop terrace and some really interesting architecture. Basically directly adjacent to the Cathedral. The bathroom was weird, as there was a load bearing pillar directly in front of the toilet, but it was still functional, also amazing water pressure and temperature control, which... More

We wanted a clean place with lots of hot water. This place was that and more. The free breakfast was plentiful and beautifully decorated. We hiked the 4 day Inca Trail and was do happy to return here to shower and get a good nights sleep before going home.

This is just steps away from the main square in Cusco. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The furnishings were old, adding charm to the room, but we did not use the wardrobe because it smelled like the antique that it was. The photos online do not do justice to the courtyard or the view from the roof. The... More

Hotel Santa Maria has very good facilities and services. Reception is available 24/7, rooms are big clean, nice and internet is available. If you go in the winter just consider that rooms are not heated although I didn't miss it as the weather is cusco is usually OK. Breakfast is good: cheese, ham, bread, eggs (if you ask), jam, juice... More

Close to main square. Room was noisy with outside light shining in. Not always hot water and no heating in rooms. Nice lounge area. Make sure you take a copy of your reservation with you as staff tried to charge extra 10 percent even though it was included in the booking.com reservation. Refused to acknowledge even after proving.

This property warms my heart. We stayed at a swanky hotel in Lima during our first two days in Peru. My daughter had stayed at the Santa Maria with a youth humanitarian group in 2014 and wanted to stay there again this time in Cusco. The contrast between our Lima hotel and the Santa Maria was vast. The Santa Maria... More

I have travel 2 or 3 times to Cusco (love that city) and since first time got in love with this place. It keeps getting better every time I go back. Includes breakfast, really good. Free WIFI. Spacious rooms with different accommodations. Friendly and always available personnel. Will keep coming back!

1 minute from Plaza de Armas Kind staffs Comfort lobby a clean room The door of my safe didn't work. So the staff gave me the key. Breakfast was good but had not many choices. You could not ask for a better location and the price is fair, but if you are not a 6 AM riser bring your ear plugs. The wòoden floors amplify every noise and good luck ht getting back to sleep. In 2 weeks I had one quiet night. Lukewarm not hot water. But a very nice and friendly staff.
