They welcome you with a coca tea, which they say is good against altitude headache, but I prefered painkillers to combat that. There was quite some noise coming from the street, even at night. Cusco is a beautiful town, which makes it hard to understand why they allow intensive and stinking car traffic through the narrow streets of the old...

If you are looking for a warm comfortable room, at a great price, then the team here will fill your needs. The breakfast is one of the best in any hotel, at this price, in Cusco. We were traveling with Three people and the Tripple room suited our needs just fine. Please don't complain about early noise, as this is...

I had a group stay here last week and, frankly, I was a bit disapppointed by the hotel staff's performance. They may mean well, but they don't execute well. Yes, the lobby is not going to impress your socks off. But for the price, the hotel's best feature is its safe/convenient location, between the main plaza and the quirky San...

After hours of travel from Lima to Cuzco we arrived to this back stage street where our hotel was. Very humble decoration, it looked more like a neglected country local house to me.... We were expecting the worst after that lobby and yes there it was, a room with dirty blankets and poor furnishing, the bathroom reminded me a room...

Stayed here as part of my tour package right before preparing to hike the Inca Trail. The location is very convenient to Plaza de Armas Cusco. It's on a busy street so be aware of lower level rooms at the front. The staff is friendly and can understand some English but you'll get farther if you speak Spanish. They have...

My friend and I really enjoyed this little hotel. This hotel felt like a little oasis to us with lots of charm. The reception lobby area was an atrium flooded with sunshine. We went there several times to read our e-mails as the hotel has wi-fi. They have a nice breakfast offered to the guests. The staff was very friendly...

We got a room in the 3rd floor with natural lighting. This was a great room to stay in. The service is a little bit slow, but in general the hotel was a good place to stay in. The rooms were clean, lighting was good and comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good, and the common areas are very nice...

We stayed here for three nights total. One night and then we went to Machu Picchu and then returned for two nights. Let me tell you, I did not want to return after the first night but the hotel we wanted was booked. The rooms are noisy wherever you go and whichever floor. You can hear everything going on outside...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and would have made it 3 but we changed our minds on our last day too late to extend our stay there and ended up one night at another perfectly nice little place just down the street (see my separate review of Hotel Ruinas). This hotel was a breath of fresh air. We...

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it was a terrible experience for me, for the following reasons: 1. They did not have my room ready, altough I asked for an early check-in. 2. The room were VERY noisy even when I asked for a quiet room and I was put in the 4th floor, I DONT RECOMMEND rooms...
