The hotel was nice in every sense though being in the middle of the historical plaza meant some interesting noisy incidents. The hot water could be patchy, the wifi was terrible in our room though I will say the staff were very friendly and helped us no end. One thing to note, tour pick ups were not possible from hotel...

The location is excellent and the staff are always friendly; however… Planned to leave early in the morning, we planned the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu. An electricity outage occurred a night before, apparently all downtown was affected, it caused lack of water in the rooms; The next morning the staff informed us that they had power plant and that it...

This Hotel has two things going for it.. the location and the friendly staff and that is where it ends! Lack of reliable hot water and electricity left us eating breakfast by candle light and having cold showers. It was impossible to see around our room either as they are have virtually no natural light coming in, very tiny window....

We had a great experience with El Virrey. My husband coordinated with Zoila prior to our trip and reserved the king bed room overlooking the Plaza De Armas. The view was fantastic - we had the same exact balcony and view as all of the restaurants that line the square! Several evenings, we bought sandwiches from local restaurants and sat...

This hotel was right on the Plaza de Armas, so is VERY convenient to all activities on and around the square. It is a hostel, so don't expect all of the amenities you might find in a hotel. Hairdryer? Get it from the front desk. Need to store your suitcases for a few days while trekking? No problem! Store them...

We stayed here the first day we arrived to Cuzco and I was very pleased with the service as my flight arrive early (5am) and they let me in although check in is at 10am. Since they had no rooms available at that time I set in the lobby and they gave me mate de coca and a blanket as...

El Virrey is located in the best place of Cusco. It is a simple hostal, with clean rooms and a very friendly staff. They are very flexible and cooperative, allowing you to leave your luggage there while you travel somewhere else (in my case, Machu Picchu).

This hotel is located in the heart of Cusco right in front of “Plaza de Armas” or Main Square, where you can walk to the cathedral and most important museums and restaurants. This hotel is nicely decorated and we had a very pleasant sleep. The breakfast buffet consisted of fruits, cereals, yogurt, scrambled eggs, cheese, natural juices, tee, marmalade, butter,...

When I travel abroad I look for comfort and location. This hotel meets both expectations. Located right in front of Plaza de Armas you can't go wrong: You're half a block away from top block full of restaurants and bars. Two blocks away from the 12 angle marvelous rock, and 20 min walk from Saksaywaman ruins. * Front desk was...

We stayed at the hotel fro six days in February. The location is excellent at the Plaza de Armas, opposite the cathedral. There are restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The hotel is quite simple but functional. The rooms are quite small and so is the bathroom. I thought the hotel was a bit noisy, especially when we changed rooms to...
