My partner and I stayed here on our return from Ollantaytambo, and wanted something special for our last few days before returning to Lima. The hotel is a little out there, maybe 5-6 blocks from the main Plaza - uphill; not a problem but if you're acclimatising it can be a struggle. The hotel doesn't have a sign per se,...

Just as the sister hotel in Tambamba , InKa del Tambo is a fabulous place with oversized InKa artefacts, this one is redolent with a feel for Spanish aristocracy and religious artefacts all beautifully displayed. Our room has a strange little open balcony where we might wave to our followers but it adds to the feeling of royalty. The wood...

I could not possibly say enough nice things about Tambo del Arriero in Cusco. The rooms were nice and breakfast was warm and tasty. But it was the hotel staff that really made the difference. They continually went above and beyond. We checked out of our room at 6am to catch the bus to Machu Picchu, only to find out...

We originally had planned to only stay one night here before our trek, but when two team members got sick, we ended up returning and coming back the second night. They were great, and able to get us in a room quickly. we finished our trek, and moved our reservations for the rest of the time in Cusco to Tambo...

We stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel last week 04-06MAR15, loved the rooms. Warm and cozy. They had heating, warm water, thermal bed sheets, blackout window shades, WIFI and breakfast included on the rate. They are the best, Karina is such a nice person if you arrive early in the morning you will get to know her. This is THE...

I booked this hotel with expedia. All wax confirmed by email. When I phoned to arrange the included airport pickup the reception told me the rooms (there were many) were listed by mistake and they could not pick me up or give me a room. I asked for an email confirmation of their cancellation as it was too late to...

We spent a week here and loved it. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. They kept out luggage for us for 5 days while we headed off with a small Backpack to the jungle. Upon returning they upgraded us to a suite with a jacuzzi and courtyard. Heavenly. Breakfast is simple...

We were planning to stay here for two nights but there a few minor issues that made our stay uncomfortable. It might be OK for others, but for us it was kind of annoying. This boutique hotel has a number of positive things staying in room 203: (1) Updated shower and sink. (2) Cute court area. (3) Fast and reliable...

Very nice rooms with character arranged around a couple of courtyards in an old mansion. Bathrooms were newly renovated and well up to western standards. Breakfast was excellent and staff even made up a packed breakfast for when I had to leave very very early on my last day, and opened the restaurant 15 minutes early (at 5:45am!) for somewhat...

We are currently staying here and really enjoying it! I'm glad we chose to spend a little extra money to stay here rather than a couple of cheaper options I was looking at. The rooms are beautiful, we are a family of 4 with 2 adult size teenagers and are in a room with 3 queens and a loft a...
