I stayed in each room of this place as they had booking troubles and I was a single traveler. Duel edged sword this spot. Pros: lovely service, awesome view at breakfast, solid Internet, great location in town, comfy beds, pretty clean, decent space, unique setting. Cons: poor/ cold/ unreliable showers and heating, no English without google translate, can be noisy as stairway... More

We stayed for 10 nights in 2 mini apartments with kitchenette. The apartment is in the San Blas area of Cusco which is very convenient for the historical sights and centre of Cusco as well as the cafes and restaurants. San Blas is a bit up the hill and the apartment is up a flight of stairs. Not too much... More

I stayed here for several weeks and was very comfortable. Also, I had a great view of Cusco. It was a wonderful home base for enjoying Cusco and doing self-catering. Also, there are excellent restaurants (Hanaq Pacha and Tacomania, to name two) and a good laundry that are within easy walking distance. The friendly manager answered my questions and was... More

We stayed here for about 2 weeks (in 2 separate trips, before and after the Amazon at Puerto Maldonado). It was a great home base because it had a little kitchenette--good for stashing leftovers or making ramen when you can't bear to leave the room, lol. Carmen was SO sweet--my Spanish is horrible but she was very patient and we... More

Two of us went to this hostel as a place to sleep before and after a 5 day hiking trip. I'll start by saying that Carmen was really nice. However, the experience wasn't. * Couldn't find the place because there was no signage * The door bell is a bit hidden and rings for every room to hear * No... More

Stayed for 7 days in May 2015 and during that time we learned that this ''hotel'' has got a few nice rooms but we weren't located in any one of them. Been promised a double bed room just find out that it was given to someone else after I arrived. Constant shortages of hot water and no communication between staff... More

Dear Sir: for us it was very nice to receive you in our house in Cusco. We are very sorry that your impression is so different from the opinions of other guests. As you say , we offer breakfast eggs, fruit, milk , homemade jams, with a nice view, served by Carmen who is a very sweet lady. The house... More

We stayed here before and after the machu picchu trek. The first 2 nights we stayed in a room under the kitchen, which is also next to the telephone and the doorbell. We did not like this room at all! Too much noise and daylight (surrounded by thin glass windows). We saw other rooms and decided to come back to... More

I very much felt like home while I was in Peru here. The room was a nice size and beautiful view and was a short walk to the main plaza and lots of good places to eat. The breakfast was good when I had it and the housekeeper was great, and the owner wonderful. And the small kitchen was a... More

This hotel makes you feel at home. Carmen, the housekeeper, is like an aunt, she really cares for the guests and prepares a delicious breakfast at a kitchen/cafeteria with a panoramic view of Cusco. The rooms are named after the signs of the Zodiac, and we stayed at Virgo, not the best one, but nonetheless awesome! It has a kitchen... More

We had a very nice stay in the quirky Casa de Mama, perfectly located on the edge of the cool San Blas district, but still just a hop to the main plaza.
