Do not trust presentation pictures on the different websites : rooms are bad, beds also - staff ok but not great. When we tell that to the staff They do not understand and maintain their view. Good point / not far from the main square of the city but 50 soles for that is very expensive (double bedroom )

First, we spended 2 nights in this hostel. After 2 days in Machupicchu, we came back there for one night and, finally, after 4 days in jungle, we came back at this hostel. It was still a good price and a good time ! Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very basic but the beds are very comfy. We...

Booked a room in advance based on a recommendation that it was cheap but good for the price. However, the room was small, dark and poorly maintained. The ensuite toilet had lots of damp. There was no odour when we entered the room, but once the shower was used (no ventilation in the ensuite), the bedroom started to smell progressively worse...

We never had hot water, during the entire stay. We had specifically booked a private room with personal bathroom, but they couldn't fix the water so they told us we had to shower in a shared bathroom. I didn't mind too much, but the problem was that after trying several of the bathrooms and finding that only one worked, I...

do NOT stay here. we did a full day trip to machu pichu and whilst we were gone the equivalent of $400 USD was stolen from my bag which was locked. someone must have come in and picked the lock because they knew that we weren't going to be there all day. worst part was we only realized the money...

I found this hostel on a hostel booking site and was primarily looking for the cheapest place. You get what you pay for. The location is fine, a nice distance away from main plaza to avoid noise but not too far to walk, so that's good. The place was charmless. The reception guy was nice enough but offered nothing in...

Very good value for money. If u are just arriving and haven't quite acclimatized, the walk up the hill and stairs can be a little tiring, but good practice. Rooms are very basic. Staff are very helpful and nice. Stayed for a week and felt at home. Short walk to main square and fairly quite. Would stay there again.

The place has a roof top! Hot water all the time and Julies and Jose are excellent sources of information and tours. I like the ambiance because it is kind of family like with its common room and kitchen and the roof is an awesome place to hang out. These people are so chill its just a great place to...

We spent a few nights at this hostal, which is a very good place. The staff was friendly and trustworthy. The hostal is located two blocks from the Plaza de Armas on a small and tranquil street. We recommend this place for those who wish to spend a quiet night in a comfortable environment.

The hostel was nice enough, staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. I stayed here for 3 nights in total over 2 occassions... both times I slept badly. The matresses on the beds were worn and had big dips in the middle... that goes for the 2 different rooms I had. Bad nights sleep all round!
