The commodities are basic. The place is very clean, don't get fooled by the alley street. Price is fair, I paid USD 35$ / night. Where this place shines is the staff. Warm welcome, cordial service, listening and very good English speaker. Enjoyed my stay, felt safe.

We are delighted that our service, cleanliness and warm hospitality have been highlights during your visit. As you rightly says, the road can be narrow, as befits the historic old city center, but inside the hotel is very cozy and above all very clean. We hope to serve you again when you visit our city again. Thank you so much...

We (couple, late 20s) stayed here for two nights. We had originally booked a room at another hostel on our first night in Cusco, but after a bad experience there we stayed at Cada de Mama. We are very happy to stayed at Casa de Mama! Positives: The hostel was very clean and we were very comfortable here. We had...

I was in cusco as part of my medical elective this summer. The organisation went with booked the accomodation so I hadn't really researched it. I couldn't have had a more comfortable stay here. Hot showers, great breakfast, free wifi and incredible staff. Couldn't recommend Casa de Mama enough, really made my time in cusco. As part of our programme...

This place is relatively cheap. However still overpriced for what you get. We didn't find the staff to be helpful, the rooms were very basic, noisy and there was only luke warm water in the showers. Breakfast was OK though.

Casa de Mama Recoleta Thank you took a few minutes of your time to comment on your stay. Casa de Mama stands out with the warmth of its attention and family atmosphere as well as its breakfasts that are highly appreciated by our guests as was, for you. Your stay was the highest week of the season, so we apologize...

You are paying $50/night or less and it includes breakfast: it isn't the Ritz. That being said, I loved staying here. The staff is helpful, the breakfast is good, the room is clean, and the hotel is in a great location with regards to the rest of Cusco. Don't be alarmed by the ally you have to walk down to...

It is somewhat annoying when travellers try to compare a hostel with a 5 star hotel. We went to Peru for an adventure and this hostel/hotel? was part of it. We stayed for 4 nights before our MP trek and 4 nights after. Everything said in reviews is probably true. The hot water is sporadic as is the Wi-Fi service....

This is a great wee hostel with very friendly staff. We stayed here for 5 nights and woke to freshly prepared breakfast each day with fresh juice eggs and tea. They speak excellent English and booked some day tours for us which were a very high standard. The staff allowed us to leave our bags with no charge when we...

We ended up staying here 8 nights as it was just right for us. Close to town, good breakfast, we asked for a heater and had one all week plus a hairdryer! We always had hot showers and used them at different times of the day. They are an eco hostel so they do turn off the water after 10...

This is a very basic hostel but the staff makes your stay something to remember. I stayed here for 6 nights and found it a little saddening to leave because it felt like home while we were in Cusco. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is great. About half of the staff speaks English very well and the other...

Fresh cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs, rolls, Fruit juice & tea! Wi - fi did not work at first but soon sorted. Hotel a little difficult to find, taxi did not seem to know where it...
