I originally wrote this review on Expedia and am posting it again here: This review is long overdue...but better late than never! We booked our flight+hotel package for our trip in December (group of 4), and Second Home Cusco caught our eye with its great reviews. We also booked the Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley tours after seeing it on...

I knew coming into this bed and breakfast it would be good, I had high expectations and they were totally exceeded. I stayed with my gf (now fiance) at second home during our visit to Cuzco for our 4 day Inca trail trek. I planned to stay for 3 days at Second home and be gone on the Inca trail...

Carlos was an amazing host! He bent over backwards to make certain our experience in Cusco was top notch. He is a hard working man and so nice and accomodating he makes the place!! There are only 3 rooms so no restaurant or bar which in Cusco all you have to do is walk out the door and you find...

Second Home Cusco is the perfect place to stay while exploring Cusco: it is ideally placed on a quiet, traffic-free street just minutes from restaurants and the famous church in the San Blas area. Carlos, the owner, has a beautiful home, full of interesting art pieces; and he is helpful, efficient and anticipates what you may want to do. He...

We built much of our Peru itinerary around availability at this three-room hotel, and it was totally worth it. Staying there really added to our enjoyment of our stay in Cusco. First off, the neighborhood it's in (San Blas) is impossibly charming and well situated near the historic center and within (rather strenuous) walking distance of Sacsayhuamán. Safe to walk...

Beautiful property, comfortable bedroom and delicious breakfast. We had chosen to spend our time in Cusco between two hotels... and only wished we had stayed here the whole time! Down little side street, we were able to walk to the main sites. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who prefers something a little different from a hotel experience.

I stayed at Second Home Cusco for three nights in early Nov, and it was wonderful. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, and great hot water (much needed after our Inca trail hike!). Carlos held our bags safely while we went out to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu and returned. Airport drop off and pick up...

I found second home off trip advisor and was wanting to book there for the duration of our stay in cusco though unfortunately we had pre and post tour accommodation through intrepid for the inca trail so we were only able to stay there 2 nights. It gave us a different perspective of the city and it was a lovely...

I stayed at Second Home in early October, 2012 before a long trek. Carlos was incredibly attentive, helpful and fun to talk to. He has a lot of good advice about area restaurants and museums. I had a tour company that picked me up at the airport, so Carlos took care of my transfer to the hotel where I met...

We were 3 females in their lower 20s on their first trip to Peru, let alone Cusco. We had heard about Second Home bed and breakfast through South American Explorers Clubhouse, and we are very glad that we made that decision. Everything about this place was amazing. First of all, our room: 2 bedroom, living room, full bathroom—all with skylights,...
