The access to the hotel was not so easy, as the road is going through major constructions, but we got into a clean and quite hotel very close to the heart of town. the breakfast in the morning was good and so was the price. Would go back there!

I highly recommend this hostel! The staff was excellent, spoke very good English and helped us in many ways: free taxi from the airport, arranged a massage for my husband at the hostel (20 soles), stored our bags for 3 days while we were in machu picchu and sacred valley, arranged taxi to Ollantaytambo and more. The location of this...

I booked this hotel and a cab dropped me off at the corner, but there was no way a wheeled suitcase could be taken down this street, so I dropped mine a hostel on the corner. Not only could a suitcase make it down the street, I barely could and had to duck under supports holding up nearby building and...

Staff are awesome people and always willing to help guests. I gotta thank the receptionist Alfredo for his patience and helping me with finding the help i needed when I visited Cuzco in May.. Hostel is clean and quiet at night.

Being a hosteling international property, it was my obvious choice on my visit to Cusco. Nice colonial property , neat & clean infrastructure . Owing to thin walls, privacy may suffer - but it didn't matter to me. Very supportive staff, made taxi arrangements. Walking distance to everything you may want to visit in Cusco .

We stayed at Hostal Mallqui for 3 nights before we hiked the Inca Trail. They have coca tea in the reception area, 24 hour reception, and free luggage holding. Room was clean and comfortable, but very cold! You have to rent a heater if you want one ($1 USD a night). Water pressure in showers was decent but not great...

Reasonably priced hotel for what you get, which is: A clean, big room (we had the one with private bathroom) best beds during our travel in Peru! Breakfast above average, although served in a cold room. Kind receptionists who speak English very well. Could think of one downside:WiFi only in Lobby and reception and only good on certain places.

Went with my girlfriend, and it was very nice and comfortable. Rooms were quite big, the prices are OK. Breakfast are awesome, they serve you like a king. They receive you with Mate de Coca to avoid soroche.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice inside garden. The breakfast was just average, served in a cold room. The hostal is close to Plaza de Armas, just a few blocks, however the neighborhood is kind of isolated without many restaurants or stores.

My travelling companions and I stayed here after our 4-day Salkantay trek for on night before travelling on to Lima. I'll caveat this by saying that we were really unlucky and faced a series of unfortunate events that mean we would recommend not going anywhere near this hostel given the other good options available in Cusco. However, I can see...
