We had bad luck and our room was in the 1rst floor, really closed to the main entrance, so it was so noisy that we could not sleep! The room was dirty and really wet. The personnel is really friendly and helpful and the terrace in the roof have great views.

I must tell that staying here was a pure pleasure although my wife got sick. Jose did everything to make us feel good, beginning with honest conversation, ending at ordering the food for us. It was an unforgettable experience, thanks for everything:-)!

Everyone at the hostel was really friendly and always happy to help with whatever we needed. From arriving at 5am and being allowed to go straight to bed and check in later, to looking after our things while we were away, everything made for a really comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms are comfy and straight forward with everything you...

We stayed at this hostel as a couple while backpacking Peru. I must say that the owner of the place is awesome! And it is certainly the most remarkable fact about this place :) . The hostel is located few blocks from the city center and the main attractions, it is also clean. A bit noisy the nigths we stayed...

We found Jose the owner to be a very attentive and welcoming host. At every corner he would help us out with things we needed for our trip to Arequipa/Colca Canyon. It was nice to find a place that has a kitchen in Peru, even if it was quite small and had basic equipment, we were still able to cook....

The hostel is located in the historic center, walking distance to everything. It has a terrace with nice views of Misty and Arequipa. Jose, the owner, is very helpful and works hard to make you feel home and happy with the hostel. He is very friendly and would give you a discount if you book directly. The rooms are clean...

We would like to thank José, the owner of the hostel, for a very pleasant stay in Arequipa. José gave us some great tips about the city, he recommended us a good tour operator for the colca canyon, and let us store our luggage for free when we were on our 3-day trek. The place itself is nice, the room...

This place is a very good deal if you're looking for a compromise between a friendly and open family run hotel and cheap but decent place to stay. The rooms are simple but clean, good Wifi signal, roof terrace, kitchen and last but not least a very friendly and open minded owner. If the above described is what you're looking...

As a hostel it's a joke: the rooms are dirty, shabby and ill-maintained. No breakfast. Intermittent hot water (but to be fair, this is a problem endemic to Peru). The location of the hostel on a busy street means polluted air. For 60 sol (20 USD) it's not worth it. Try the Flying Dog a couple of blocks away (70...

“2nd floor is perhaps a little cooler as there is an open staircase to the roof terrace, but certainly not freezing and probably a bit lighter than ground floor but again not drastic. No problems with water pressure, internet on either floor and room and shower sizes seem to be the same.”
