This hostel was great to me and my girlfriend. We got there really early and our room was ready. Close to good restaurants and to the Plaza. We hiked 3 days in Colca Canyon and they looked after our stuff and then booked our bus tickets to Cusco. Owner was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, showers warm, wifi...

Stayed in La casa de sillar for two nights. The facilities are great, big kitchen, patio and tv room. Our room was a bit stuffy but nothing that bothered us too much. What made us love the place was definitely the staff. Juan was always nice, very honest and fair. Booked the trekking tour to canyon del colca for us,...

We stayed here for 3 days before our colca canyon and 3 days after. It was lovely! Peaceful, pretty, and the staff was really nice and helpful. Free breakfast and clean rooms. 2 cute pups too. About 10 minute walk to the plaza. Cool rooftop terrace. Would definitely recommend!

(The owners also kindly let us leave our big backs here while we were away for 3 days/ 2 nights for free :) ) The hostel is a really...

We had such a lovely stay at La Casa de Sillar while vacationing in Arequipa. Our beautiful sillar room was a welcomed haven during our days off from our busy jobs in the jungle. The rooftop terrace offers splendid views and breakfast in the morning was very tasty. Señor Carlos was an incredible host and even helped us change our...

We stayed here several nights. The owner Juan Carlos is very accommodating. There are two friendly dogs. Nice patio outside. Quiet location - 5 blocks from town. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Juan Carlos knows a tour company for colca canyon - don't pay more than 150 for 3 days! You can leave your bags. Feels safe. 24h reception.

Sillar architecture, roof terrace, winding courtyard and a huge room with high, vaulted ceiling and colonial-era accoutrements- delightful! We arrived very late from the bus station but were met at the front gate only a moment after ringing the bell. From the outside it is just another forebodingly blank facade, however upon stepping through the doorway one sees a beautifully...

We had a lovely stay at Casa de Sillar. The room was spacious and clean and had access to the rooftop patio which was great for watching the sunset. Juan and the rest of the staff were all really helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags whilst on a trip to colca canyon and take a shower...
