Stayed here while working in Cuenca for three weeks. Comfortable stay. Great staff that always greets you and is very friendly. It's in a very walkable area, close to a lot of shops, bars, and restaurants. Great breakfast included, fresh juice, coffee, eggs to order. There's also a small bakery attached and a bar close to the dining area (closes...

We originally made reservations at The Black Olive hotel (Ugh!) which was terrible. I stopped in at Hotel Victoria after seeing it on TripAdvisor and we immediately grabbed our luggage and came right over. It was a warm, quiet, lovely, cozy, elegant oasis with a warm fire burning in the fireplace in the lobby. We had a beautiful suite with...

This hotel has an interesting history and any of the staff are willing to show you around. The member of staff who showed us the place was Victor. He showed us where Simon Bolivar regularly stayed when in the area. There is a myriad of antiques in the place. All staff are excellent. We had to leave early yet a...

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, but nothing fancy, the rooms on the riverside are the quietest. The restaurant is excellent. The shrimp and avocado appetizer is particularly good. This was a group travel experience for a medical mission and the staff took care of all of our needs and helped out whenever we needed it

This hotel was recommended to us by a couple of people. Right in the middle of old town Cuenca so it is walking distance to all of the squares, cathedrals, markets, etc. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and the view of the river was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They can answer any questions...

The hotel is well located in the centre of Cuenca, close to the river. Rooms with view on the river (and not the main street) are to be recommended. In the back, the hotel enjoys a nice green area including views to trees. Depending on your budget, you might have a room with views to the main street (a bit...

Hotel Victoria is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is small and quaint and charming. I was lucky to stay in room 003 overlooking beautiful plants and flowers. The rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was included and very nicely presented. Waiter Hugo is fantastic, also served as bellboy and helped me with the safe. Thank you very much Hugo. The hotel...

Arriving here for a 3 night stay - our room was I think technically on the 5th floor - but it was in fact one floor above the reception; the hotel is built on a steep hill side but many rooms were below the reception! We had views towards the river, at the rear of the hotel, which included a...
