For me, this hostel is the standard every hostel should aspire to. You can see the owner is passionate about this establishment, every detail is taken care of. The atmosphere is great, the staff are super friendly (one staff member, Santiago, spent his day off showing us around town just for fun), and the facilities are beautiful and clean. They...

We arrived on saturday morning and tried to cancel our reservation for sunday night, the very rude argentinian employee said we would have to talk to the owner on sunday morning. Sunday morning we did talk to the owner and he said we would have to pay for the night anyway, that reservations made by phone could not be cancelled...

It's very clean and in a central location. The beds are comfortable (as long as you don't exceed 1.95 meters). Breakfast is included, but the only food that's included is 1 croissant with butter and jelly and 1 banana, so either I paid more or I left hungry. After I had an overpriced bed in a 4-person room for 1...

A no-frills place for sure, but it provided good value and met our needs. We were in a room with a private bath on the second floor. The room was stark, but very spatious. The bed was firm, but comfortable. Considering it was Carnival, we expected a lot of noise during the night, but it was dead quiet. The breakfast...

We thought the place was great due to price and reviews. Their cancellation policy is 24hrs in advance. We tried canceling our second night 24hrs in advance and they charged us anyway. We tried to find and agreement with the owner and he acted condescendingly only because we are Ecuadorian. Terrible breakfast and dirty showers! Would not recommend it. There...

We had booked this Hostel because of it high ratings. When we arrived they had lost our reservation and were only able to accommodate us for one night (Whew). The rooms were noisy, poorly furnished, breakfast was less than basic, and the general condition of the building was "Run Down". The only positive comment I can make is the staff...

This was the first big hostel I ever stayed in, so I was a bit intimidated to enter the night they (and the entire city) were having a party to celebrate Día de Los Inocentes. Though it was a loud first night, I quickly found out the staff are friendly and welcoming, and lucked out with similar types in the...

The staff is really friendly and their english is great. The rooms are clean and the showers are hot. All you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast left something to be desired but you have the option of purchasing eggs, ham or whatever tickles your fancy for the first meal of the day. All in all a great place...

We came here as a group of 40 people and we really enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere was perfect for college students and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and I thought they were quite large. We had an amazing time here! The location is also great, you are only a few minute...

I agree with some reviewers that the fuzz created by the Lonely Planet is a bit overrated. The common areas are a bit dispersed which can give a bit empty impression in low season. Our private room did have a private bathroom further down the hall, which made us move after our first night. They were very correct by making...
