Attractive courtyard in the center of the building. Nice rooms. Good breakfast is included in the price of room. Staff were attentive and helpful when needed. Close to restaurants and sights in Old Town.

Dear Guest, Thanks so much for taking the time to write about us. We are very happy to know you liked your stay in our Hotel! The courtyard is just as colonial times, and we tried to keep all the House as original in the last reconstruction. Thanks again. kind regards,

This is a barebones hotel but the location was convenient, the courtyard was beautiful breath of air -- and the little used rooftop deck offered extraordinary views of Quito. Breakfast was included and was adequate, water cooler available 24-7 and there was a small grocery next door.

My sis and I were here for three nights and loved it from the moment we entered its charming inner courtyard reception sitting area filled with Ecuadorian art, plants. and antiques! Our spacious, clean room with two double beds and spotless bath was quiet and comfy! The fresh-cooked breakfast of eggs, juice, bread and coffee was served in a cozy...

HIGHLIGHTS: Superior location in Quito's Old Town, just two blocks from the Plaza Grande. The hotel's historical Colonial ambiance was terrific, we felt we had gone back in time. The Hotel San Francisco is obviously beloved by cultural travelers, and by its management as well! The friendly, likable staff has all the information right at hand to answer your every...

Very quaint hotel in very good location; could walk around all attractions/restaurants in Old Town; could easily bus to various other locations; staff was very helpful with transit tips, etc; best part was that there is a rooftop patio with an incredible view; very private; nice to leave excess luggage in storage while we went on a few days excursion;...

We loved the views and antique furniture in our matrimonial suite. The courtyard is beautiful and the building has so much history. The hotel arranged transport and some pizza for our late night arrival and was easy to arrange taxis to other locations in Quito. It is walking distance to Old town attractions and easy to find places to eat....

We had room #8 , which is large and comfortable with a view of the street in front of the hotel. Some reviews complained about breakfast, but fruit, eggs, bread, coffee and juice are a typical included breakfast in many countries. We found it to be more than adequate and a nice addition for the price of the room. The folks at...

i stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. the hotel is amazingly understated, it's half garden, half hotel. rooms were big and bathrooms were good. breakfast was good (coffee, fruit, bread, eggs) if this seems like not a big breakfast you should know that it's an above average offering compared to other places were stayed. I'd definitely book this...
