The staff here were amazing -- in particular, the housekeeping staff (who also is the kitchen staff during breakfast). Specifically, one of us in the party got sick during our stay. And staff made sure we could extend our reservation (to keep him comfortable), and,...More
We stayed in Vieja Cuba for 2 nights in the beginning of May. It's a nice place with very nice rooms and very friendly people. Breakfast was (very) good as well.
It was a bit noisy though, you could hear everything that was going on...More
The hotel is in excellent condition. Breakfast is included. The room I had was quaint with a single on the floor with the bathroom and up a staircase was a TV and queen size bed. The windows are cute as they are handmade and painted...More

Hi Steve, sorry if this is too late but I don't check tripadvisor regularly. It takes about 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel, maybe a little more in rush hour. We had transfers so I'm afraid I don't know the price. The safest way is as with the rest of the city to take an official cab with all the badges. That said, we used an unbadged taxi for another trip once and it was fine and in general we found the city safe - did quite a bit of walking at night to and from restaurants and bars. There were a few streets that looked dodgy but use commonsense and you should be fine.
