We stayed here bouncing around Ecuador 3 different times. We were in 3 different rooms and each had its own charm. The main house seems a bit more comfortable and quieter. My favorite room was on the 3rd floor of the main house. Breakfast is tasty. Most importantly the staff is excellent. Everyone went above and beyond including assisting with...

Stayed here on either side of a Galapagos trip like other reviewers.. the perfect place to walk to the botanical gardens and the artisan market. Great hotel with excellent breakfasts , friendly and helpful staff not expecting tips and individual rooms. Wonderful.

We came here at both ends of a trip to Galapagos Islands. Hotel is ideally placed for seeing Quito, which itself is worth seeing. Rooms are good, breakfast is good, staff are good, service is good. Not what I would call 4/5 star by UK standards but we were not in the UK. Loved it.

I stayed here when my friend Leah came to visit me in Ecuador. The beds were wonderfully soft and while the bathroom we had was a little small, every room we saw felt cozy rather than cramped. The breakfast in the morning was substantial enough to power us through the activities and shopping she wanted to do, and there was...

We stayed three nights in this hotel which is located in the Mariscal (room 23), in a quiet street. Our room had a first floor with the bathroom and a single bed and on the second floor, a double bed. The bathroom is small but functional, a good shower and hot water. Beds were comfortable and the room was overall...

Stayed here either side of our Galapogas tour, lovely old colonial style building, tastefully decorated with great little common areas inside and out. Excellent, comfortable, cozy well equipped rooms, my only criticism would be that they would benefit from some sort of extraction system in the bathrooms. A good breakfast to get you started for the day and plenty of...

This is a very different place to stay for us. It fells very much like a private boutique type of hotel but it has all the extras you would expect from a bigger hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. They offed us breakfast for a very early morning start. (Thanks for that it made our day). The rooms,...

Vieja Cuba provided great added services whenever we requested. I originally found and booked through Expedia, then confirmed by email direct with hotel. They responded quickly and confirmed. They arranged a reliable driver to meet us at the airport on arrival and we had the same driver on many other excursions, including other airport pickups that charged the standard going...

We booked a couple of nights at the Vieja Cuba for a group of us heading to the Galapagos Islands. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating - allowing me to book all the rooms through email with no deposit, arranging taxis for our late arrival, and staying open late for our middle of the night check-in. The rooms...
