Excellent location, nice and helpful service, and good food. There are many places in the common areas of the hotel to sit and enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee any time of day, which is a nice touch. Rooms are on the basic side, but cleanliness is excellent. Overall a great choice and good value given then prime location in...

Not only was the entire staff cheerful and helpful, but the front desk went well above and beyond expectations. I traveled from Panama with a couple and were only staying about 18 hours in route to a Galapagos cruise for which we needed to leave for the airport at 4am. Our luggage didnt make it on the plane and it...

We stayed in Quito for two days on our way to the Galapagos Islands. This was a great find (dumb luck admittedly in booking). The setting / courtyard is a sight to be seen, with kids playing chess and checkers on the balconies and happy hour provided in the late afternoon. We had not planned any excursions out of the...

This hotel had a great restaurant, it was in a beautiful building in a great location in the old town, but was a bit noisy with some children. All together was very nice, will recommend to friends- it's a great place to stay to see the old part of Quito

elegant, well appointed rooms, very comfortable, great restaurant. The hotel is an hour from the airport which I which I had known. It is in the historic area of the city. The concierge was not as helpful as I would have hoped and gave us incorrect information about the city.

An old colonial home refurbished as a hotel. The architecture in a sense is its limitation. Old room with scratchy, rather than soft luxurious sheets. Decent food, and very professional service. Very convenient location. You won't feel like your within the lap of luxury, but it is possible it is as good as you will get.

The hotel is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. It is right in the heart of the Historic District of Downtown Quito but it is also very quiet. All members of the staff are very professional and available to serve at any moment.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, which is just a block away from the central square. Solid accommodation and services, but not overly impressive to justify 5 points. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was generally quiet.
