We had the suite on the top floor, with a beautiful view over the city. Its clean, easy going and a pleasant ambiance. We stayed 4 days, instead of only one night ;-) Close to the old centre and to mariscal it is just a 15 min walk, or $1,50 with the taxi.. So do not over pay!! The taxi...

A nice hostel that's very cute and clean! Not the best for meeting other travelers as it's not a very social environment. They charge for breakfast, which is a bit of a joke since I've gotten the same breakfast (bread and fruit) at other places for free. Very safe and friendly staff. Nothing to complain of but nothing too special.

It wasn't busy when we stayed in early february so was fairly quiet. good location between historico centro and mariscal. our private ($20) was cozy and bright, on the 4th / top floor of the front building. not very appealing from the street but much better inside. we liked the inner courtyard which is nicely gardened and provides a good...

Nice Hostel, nice patio, friendly staff, clean (small) rooms, nice bar, restaurant. Little calm oasis in the center of Quito. Breakfast is not included, but 3,90 USD for the buffet breakfast is a good value. There is a small kitchen for travellers as well.

A great, comfortable place to stay with good location and unique ambience. The friendly staff (Gina, Juan Carlos, Bolivar) made me feel right at home and thanks to them this is the only place I stay at when I come to Quito. The food is superb, which is convenient because you don't have to leave to get a good meal....

I stayed here numerous times across a month this July (2015) as I travelled back and forth from Quito around Ecuador. PROS The best thing about this place is the staff - couldn't be friendlier, more welcoming or more willing to do anything you need. The owner Jean Luc is so personable - it was always lovely to see him....

Its spooky and non familiar entrance door is the contraire of what you encounter inside. L'Auberge is a nicely spaced hostal with a pool table, bar, kitchen and nice rooms. Slept in a private room without bathroom and I slept very well. Compared to other hostals this one is calm and your sleep will not be bothered. The front staff...
