The Plaza Foch zone in La Mariscal is a very fun place to visit but be prepared for noise in the evening. I was staying at a hotel 4 blocks north of Hotel Sebastian and I had trouble sleeping at night. I know it was a weekend and the clubs/bars would be busy but the constant noise of people yelling...

I booked the hotel late so had to get a suite for $100/night. It was just me so it felt huge. The hotel is dated but fine. The bed was nice and comfortable. There was no outside noise to speak of, unlike hotels closer to Foch Plaza. I was on the 2nd floor right above the restaurant in the corner...

Hotel Sebastian is a lovely hotel in the Plaza Foch zone of La Mariscal. We arrived at the airport at 545 am and were met by the driver we arranged with the hotel. We expected to leave our bags and relax in the lobby for part of the morning (to adjust to the altitude) but to our surprise, the room...

I enjoyed my two nights here. The place was very comfortable and close to a restaurant district, and most of the staff were very friendly. There was a delay in my airport transfer, and their restaurant closes at 930 which is quite early, but otherwise my stay was enjoyable.

The hotel is in a good location in downtown Quito. I wouldn't call it a "luxury" hotel, but , what it provides, it provides very well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is good to very good. The staff is among the friendliest, the most helpful that I've ever come across. No one got frustrated...

Nearby to government ministries and business locations. Supermarket close by is convenient if you need anything. Checked in very early, no issue. Great breakfast buffet included. Room nicely appointed, luxurious bedsheets, wifi without issues, friendly staff. Water pressure, volume and temperature are exceptionally good = a great shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel. The only downside would be that...

We returned to this hotel three times during our month in South America. The staff was very helpful, organized and friendly in accommodating all of our needs. The rooms were nice. The restaurant was very good. The hotel is conveniently located for walking around the old town, the parks, shopping and the artisan market. I definitely recommend this hotel.

THE GOOD: I was able to check in at 10:30AM, the room was super spacious for three adults and one child, very clean, stocked with bottled water and with a wonderful view of the city, it was stunning at night. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and clean. The bathroom was outdated but clean and functional. The breakfast was delicious, stocked...

We found Hotel Sebastian quite by accident after having to leave our previous hotel after only 2 hours due to some unfortunate circumstances we encountered. We called a local person and she recommended this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are terrific and I can't say enough about the staff, they are just the best....

Rooms run from normal US hotel size to large suites with sitting area and office nook. Spotless older property in residential area. Good restaurant just across small square (Cosa Nostros). Cooked to order omelets, good coffee and assorted bread and fruit for breakfast in their own beautiful restaurant. No issues.
