Hotel was fine, large rooms, good bar, nice staff. Food was very disappointing. Chef seemed to be trying too hard to be inventive. Lovely setting for both the hotel and restaurant, new waterfront area is impressive.

Stayed here before our trip to the Galapagos Islands and the service was excellent. Very clean hotel with beautiful roses in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very fresh. The Bistro Lead chef Xavier was a smiling face in the morning and happy to make whatever I requested. He even put up with my bad Spanish. Lots of... More

After travelling around Ecuador we decided to stay at this Hotel in Quito on our last night. The Hotel is centrally located , easy to move around the New Town for shopping, eating in restaurants and to go out. The rooms are big, super clean with great views of the city. A place to feel like home!

We stayed here as part of the pre cruise package offered by Celebrity. We upgraded to the Elite floor so we enjoyed a cooked breakfast buffet in the Elite lounge and daily wine and buffet in the evening. My wife loved the pool. The room was upscale and spacious. All the staff was very courteous and helpful. We would certainly... More

We had a fantastic stay. The room was amazing, the food in the executive lounge was very good, the service was fantastic, and the hotel is close to everything in town. Its a bit of a drive to the old town, but you get to see many things.

We spent four nights at this lovely hotel prior and after a Galapagos cruise. What a relaxing, quiet and positively beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and the fresh roses were a fabulous addition. Actually, the roses EVERYWHERE were simply amazing! We will return here if ever in Quito again!

I will start with the good: 1. Sushi great 2. Staff very friendly The bad: 1. Food too expensive (all Marriotts) 2. Beds lumpy 3. The wifi in the room is horrible and is my biggest complaint. If you stay at a JWM, then you should be able to get wifi speeds faster than 1993 dial-up. We stayed in two... More

Booked this hotel for the last night of our 12 day stay. We are frugal travelers and so we weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money but we both agree it was worth it. The creature comforts of home were nice as we were starting to wear down and become exhausted from hopping hotels and towns. The pool... More

This hotel is one of the nicest in the city. The staff are very courteous and fluent in English. The rooms are exactly what you would expect for Marriott. Breakfast was included downstairs and there were lots of local choices. There is a small shopping complex attached to the facility as well. I highly recommend this being your home in... More
