We had a room at the end of the hallway. In the middle of the night the neighbour started to practice his drumskills :( Despite our (yelling) question to stop it, he didn't stop. We couldn't get another room, so we had to stay. The host talked to the man later and it stopped after almost an hour. The room...

Hostal Nassau is located near all the pubs, clubs and restaurants of plaza Foch, so it's perfect if youwant to go out, but also quite silent during the night if you prefer to sleep. The staff is really nice and the relation quality/price is good as well. It's also not far from the old part (20 min by feet). I would...

Valentine's Day weekend nearly all of the hostals in the Plaza Foch area were booked, so we were very excited to get a matrimonial room here for $30. The price was reasonable and the accommodation was clean. It wasn't anything particularly special, but it was only a few seconds walking from Plaza Foch, so you really couldn't ask for a...

The owner is really friendly. Speaks and understand little english. We had a double room without private bathroom. The room was old and fray. But we sleept well. It is a little loudly. Real good location near Mariscal. And its cheap.

I've stayed at this hostel a few times, as it was a recommendation from a friend. It's close to everything I needed, as it is in New Town. At one point I was renewing my visa so needed to get to the immigration building quite early every day, and Nassau is literally just a few blocks away. Also the owners...

Owners were really friendly. Spoke Spanish very clearly. Not sure if they spoke English or not. In rooms with private baths bathrooms were very small. In our particular room the drain was a bit slow. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Street noise was loud regardless of the day of the week in rooms by the street. Much quieter in rooms...

We enjoyed our stay here because of the friendly, helpful owners. However, I would recommend a room away from the street, as it is MUCH quieter. The location was convenient and it was a good deal for the money. We felt safe because you had to be buzzed in before entering, and we left stuff in the security box without...

This a small, unpretentious Mom and Pop place close enough to the main square in "gringolandia" to be comfortable walking to and from there at night, yet far enough away not to be noisy. The room my son and I had was simply furnished, inexpensive and clean. The owners live next door and were friendly, helpful and accommodating people who...

“Rooms with shared bath in the basement had much less street noise. Rooms on the street are noisy most of the night regardless of day of the week.”

“If you are there, ask to see the rooms. If you are requesting on-line, know that a "matrimonio" is a double or queen bed and "habitation con dos camas" will get you separate beds.”
