We had a great stay here, very welcoming and friendly. Ideally placed for the old city of Quito and a short walk for everywhere we wanted to see. They started luggage for us between trips at no extra charge, really useful. Thoroughly recommend.

Our group booked through a travel designer, UNTAMED PATH. Real expensive, later we found this actual establishment on trip advisor half the price! The hotel is average, not worth the price we paid.....service is slow, rooms dark

This is a beautiful hotel, both the exterior, the lobby, garden, restaurant and the rooms. You feel welcomed and are well taken care of. It is a great location to walk to the majority of the Quito major highlights in the heart of the old town.

We stayed at Casa Gangotena on 3 occasions during our time in Ecuador & Galápagos Islands. We only stayed for 1 or 2 nights at a time but the hotel was always welcoming & treating us as valued returning customers. The rooms were all exceptionally comfortable with, I think, the highest quality bed linen I've ever experienced! A small quality...

I went to Casa Gangotena for the first time on my recent trip to Quito. I was impressed with all from the gorgeous design and inviting staff that accommodated me while dining solo at the restaurant's bar. Exceptional service; I was treated like family and the food was excellent.

We stayed here for two nights before heading to the Galapagos. It is a beautiful old building, lovingly maintained, in the heart of historic Quito. We had a very large, comfortable room. No view (patio roof) but quiet. The bathroom was also very large, with both a walk in shower and a large bathtub. Nice touch was fresh fruit left...

The building is lovely and the restaurant is nice inside. The rooms are very spacious too though did not have a mini bar. The wifi is free and multi-device. There is sadly no gym or in-house spa and apparently the closest is a 30-45 minute drive away. Good point to start from when touring Quito. Everyone was very friendly except...

We often look for Four Seasons hotels prior to travel but since there where none in Quito we chose Casa. I would rate the facility right up there with Four Seasons. The service was good but not close to FS. The location was great. My issue with service was regarding the restaurant. I asked to get a table for dinner...

Stayed for 2 nights in a hotel which reminded me of colonial times where the hotel is draped in white against the dirt and grim of the street. The flowers and décor were very welcoming. The staff helped us out and were very friendly.
