Spent with a friend three nights. Hotel is just ok, nothing extraordinary. Rooms are small but clean and recently remodeled. Breakfast is very poor. Even though its close to plaza foch which is the trendy part of city, on weekdays nights could be dangerous around the hotel (that's the impression we had). Hotel is just ok to overnight. Leave early...

The rooms are clean, modern and newly renovated. The location is very convenient, albeit loud. Price is ok too. The bad: 1- terrible, terrible staff. With no sense of customer service and creating a hospitable ambiance 2- It is not save to leave your valuables in the room. 150 usd got stolen from me. When reported, I myself was blamed...

My stay here was amazing to say the least. We left to the beach for a few days and felt glad to be back to Quito and stay here. The hotel is clean and inviting. The staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. When we first arrived my friend was very sick and didn´t get better in...

Stayed here for 3 nights and will stay here again next time we are in Quito. Very secure, well-run hotel, nicely decorated lobby. Rooms are functional & clean, could use some decorating with color. Beds were comfortable and good hot water in the shower. Breakfast here is a nice experience with fresh rolls, yogurt, eggs, juice, coffee. Suggestion would be...

It was nice to be just a little bit outside the noise of New Town. Their description says the hotel is "cozy" but the rooms are actually a little sterile. They're big, but mostly wasted space. Staff is friendly, though and rooms are clean.

Stayed here for 3 nights in late March. Took one of their Suites, which was very good value. Simple room with everything you need, including a kitchenette. Nicely appointed & clean, although nothing fancy. Light breakfast was included. My only caution here, was that it was difficult to get assistance in English. You would need some tourist-level Spanish to stay...

This was our first hotel of an 8 week trip and I was more than satisfied with it. While its location is not the best, (a very long walk into the centre of Quito) we arrived at 4 in the morning after a delayed flight and there was someone on reception to help us to get checked in. We had...

A frequent traveler recommended Hotel Carolina Montecarlo for our short stay before leaving for Cuenca. It is CLEAN, convenient to new Quito (yes, we felt safe walking the streets during our early evening stroll.) Very secure. For those of us who are senior citizens, on a budget, but wanting to be close to Quito amenities, it is great. The staff...

This hotel fit the bill perfectly for an overnight in Quito. Very clean-good location for walking to resturants. It is very reasonably priced and they even lined up a ride to the airport for 3:30 in the morning that was safe and also very reasonbly priced. I highly recommend this hotel for a stop over in Quito.

We moved hotel to Carolina Montecarlo after a bad experience at another hotel in Quito. The staff were lovely and friendly, rooms were cosy, clean, modern and secure. In a great location near all the main bars and restaurants yet not too close that you hear the noise from them. Wifi in rooms. Nice bar and breakfast area and lovely...
