My boyfriend and me are travelling in South America for 6 months and this is BY FAR the best hostel we've ever stayed in! The scenery is beautiful, the rooms are big and clean, the food is delicious, the volunteers are amazing, the dogs are cute, the fireplace is cosy... We really can't think of one bad thing about this...

We could stay only three days because we were a bit in a time-rush, but we will come back for sure! Victor and Sofia, the volunteers and the amazing cooking staff made our stay amazing, and the most beautifull view we've ever seen helped with it as well! We did the Pasachoa and Cotopaxi hike and both of them were...

Not only is the landscape surrouding you gorgeous, but Secret Garden's homey vibes and wonderful volunteers will make you want to stay forever (not to mention the free banana cake always available and the 5 cute dogs). Every day at 5pm, along with snack time, you will be able to choose what activity you want to do the next day,...

We had a very nice time staying in one of the hobbit homes. The place is beautiful, with a very nice view of Cotopaxi. The activities are very nice and they give the opportunity to getting to know people (after hiking for several hours, some conversations start, of course!). Best part ever: few minutes in the jacuzzi after the hiking....

Secret Garden is a magic place at the foothills if Cotapaxi. My daughter is a Lord of the Rings fanatic, so when she saw the Hobbit homes it was a must go location. Their cabins are also lovely. EVERYTHING about Secret Garden is fantastic....the staff, food, things to do, hot tub....etc. But the best of all is the idyllic setting...

Can not say enough about this special place. The property, the staff, the dogs (omg- the dogs go hiking with the group!). The FOOD. I can't imagine other people's prior posts who said there wasn't enough food. And we had vegetarians hanging with us and they were equally well-fed. We had a private cottage for 2 nights- fantastic. But we...

I really enjoyed the Secret Garden - Cotopaxi. It is hidden away in the foot hills of the volcanoes, and when you finally see it, it's built in to the surrounding environment in a pleasing way. I stayed in a "Hobbit Hole" which was literally a small, round dwelling in the hill, like Hobbiton - but with morning views of...

The secret garden is a must visit in Cotopaxi. I went in October and availed of the two night deal for $88, this includes an easy walk to the waterfall to see how you do with the altitude and then a hike the following day. All meals are included and I have no idea how people are complaining about the...

Secret garden Cotopaxi is heaven on earth! Unique and one of a kind! Highly recommend staying here. Everything about it is awesome. We stayed in a private cabana which was adorable and even had our own fire which the staff lit for us each night while we had dinner. The gardens around the hostel are beautiful, especially with Cotopaxi beaming...
