The hotel is well located and secure with nice rooms and nice breakfast. Unfortunately we had money taken from the room safe!!! We presume that they think if they take several 20 bills we would not notice - wrong!! We could not imagine how this happened but there was no other explanation.. We later saw the owner/caretaker walking around with...

My two travelling companions and I spent four nights in this hotel. The physical facility is very nice, as the public spaces are well decorated and well restored. The location is perfect, right in the historic district, and the breakfast room has great views. Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk are all apparently very unhappy in their positions and...

My family and I stayed here on and off over a 3 week period. The hotel is in a good location and we had no problems with safety, as some say that the old town is rough. I was traveling with 2 kids ages 11 and 7. Internet worked well, breakfast was good and both were inclusive. Taxi to or...

This hotel is located very closed to Plaza de Armas, the central point in historic Spanish colonial Quito. It is located in a very old building that was recently totally refurbished. I think it is the best choice for a visit to old Quito, perhaps the best preserved 16th Century Spanish colonial city in the world. The rooms are well...

This lovely hotel is on a side street near one of the old town plazas in Quito. Flags hanging from the wrought iron balcony indicate it's location along the street. Not much to look at besides that from the exterior, step through the security gate (an unfortunate necessity in this city) and you step into a Latin fantasy. You enter...

Beware if you stay at this hotel. Myself and my partner had cargo pants stolen from our suitcases in the room. We used the hotel as a base over 10 days and our cases never left the hotel and my ski pants never left that case but for when they were stolen! The room are variable, the front of the...

Stayed here during our visit in Quito. Wanted to stay in old town somewhere not too touristy. The hotel was great in arranging a driver for our late arrival. They also arranged an excellent local driver for tours. The best thing I like was my friend and I work for an airline and when we couldn't make the flight, they...

The staff at this hotel were very professional and helpful. My room had a very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, cable TV, and a beautiful balcony from which I could view the activity below in this beautiful city. Breakfast was just OK, nothing special. I would definitely go back!
