We stayed here in November 2015 and it proved to be a gem. We had a twin room with bathroom. It was great value for money and the rooftop terrace was a massive bonus. This place is handy to most things, is safe, is clean and the staff were lovely. We had breakfast here each morning on the rooftop and...

So ok, I am not the right age to use hostals (50+) but I always love the atmosphere since I have been travelling a lot. I do not like unpersonal hotels. This place is exactly what a hostal should be: great staff, very clean rooms, two (!!) kitchens you can use, hot water and the location is quit. Taxi's are...

Located between the old town and Mariscal, this hostel overlooks El Ejido park. Clean hostel, dormitory has five beds, all the other rooms are private. Three kitchens with plenty of storage. Free wifi and computers to use. They also have a separate kitchen/cafe where they serve breakfast. Good seating arrangement on the terrace with pool table and ping pong. Cold...

Stayed just one night, everyone was helpful and got an upgrade to a private bath because we had a reservation and no shared baths were available. Across the street from a wonderful park and close to the ecovia line. It's a hike up the hill but the neighborhood is quite and appears safe.

We stayed at this place for almost a week in a big group. The first thing that stands out as you check out this place is this breath taking view from the balcony. Have never stayed at a place with a such a great view. The staff is really helpful. The hostel is conveniently located between La Foch and Old...

I "lived" here for 6 months when I worked in Quito back in 2006 (but couldnt select a date on my review form earlier than Dec 2013). I loved that it was out of the city centre and therefore safer. Great views of the city, earnt by the very steep walk to get there! Great rooms some with fabulous views....

Great place, tidy and with a great atmosphere. Wonderful view on the rooftop over quito. Internet and good facilities. Recommended! Close to the center, friendly staff. Dont know about security, there are lockers by the reception and you should use them since the handle on my door is almost falling off!!

We had a room with private bath. The room was huge, with bedside tables, desk and chair, and mini fridge. The location was okay, in retrospect it would have been more convenient to be located in Mariscal but the view from the terrace was lovely. We had breakfast there (not included in rate) and portions were huge. The reason we...

First stop on SA trip, and a great one of them. Good atmosphere and easy mingling with other travellers. The rooftop porch is amazing with a fantastic view over the city. For backpackers/travellers this is an awesome place to stay. If i return to Quito I'll definitely be going back.

“Pricing seems to be all over the place, I think someone must be skimming off the top because talking to others price did not correlate with quality. Check multiple rooms. Some are windowless, some keep the view over Quito. Also check the showers.”
