I had a good experience at this hostel. The city is a bit cold at night. I like the duvets the hostel provided for the beds. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I ended up booking an extra night for a total of 4 nights. I liked practicing Spanish with both Matias, and Israel. The only...

We stayed here for a few nights and found our stay to be extremely uncomfortable. For such a small hostel, they have a large amount of "volunteers" working there (doing what, I haven't got a clue as there's only two dorm rooms and a double room). It seemed as staff were using this place as their own home instead of...

You seem to have omitted several details in your review. For example, that you did not want to pay the IVA (tax that must pay in Chile all the foreigners who wish to pay in Chilean pesos). When you use a shared kitchen in a hostel, and you leave everything messy and wet, you should know that you're no alone...

We stayed here for a few nights to get away from the stress of Santiago. The location is good (there's an amazing empanada shop on the same street). The hostel is small but it has a basic kitchen so you can make pasta. There was sometimes a wait for the bathrooms in the morning but not too bad as the...

We stayed at the Casa Fischer Hostel for one night and had a great stay. It is centrally located which is just great for exploring the city and there's a spacious kitchen and two bathrooms. The rooms were basic but clean and there's a common room with lots of information about the city. Breakfast was basic too, consisting of bread...

Valparaiso is the magic place and Fischer street is one of those that create that charm. Perfectly located the hostel catches with it's windows' views and home atmospere. The owner comes every day, helps with the breakfast and talks to the guests. That is so nice. All the girls and boys that work there are helpful and friendly. Especially one...

We stayed at Casa Fischer Hostel for one night whilst we explored Valparaiso. The hostel was clean and tidy. Cheap but cheerful. They offer a light breakfast in the morning along with access to use the kitchen area which is handy. Dinky little place, but not suitable for those who are unable to walk up quite a few stairs. I...

Enjoyed my stay here. Originally booked elsewhere but changed hostels to Casa Fischer half way through our stay. The dorms were a good size and the bunk beds were normal size (the last place had smaller bunks). The rooms were all clean and there were individual lockers for valuables to be stored away. The best part was the showers. Hot...

We stayed in a 7 bed dorm room. It was crowded and not much room for bags. Small lockers provided in the room for valuables which was good. Only two bathrooms for a 7 bed dorm, 6 bed dorm and private room upstairs! The breakfast was simple but good. Great location. The biggest down fall was that the common area...

We stayed here one week and really enjoyed ever day and felt very welcome! Pros: - Location: Nicely located in an artsy, beautiful neighbourhood (Cerro Concepcion), but also close to the main plaza and a supermarket (5 minutes walk) - Atmosphere: Very nice and familiar atmosphere, the people working there were very friendly and eager to help - Rooms: We...
