First of all let me say that the best part of this lovely place is how incredibly welcome we felt upon arrival and throughout the stay. The receptionist was really helpful, the manager very friendly and the maid absolutely adorable. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast good . The location of this hotel is just perfect .

We stayed at Hotel Da Vinci for 2 nights and were felt it to be a good choice for our price point. The hotel is located very close to good restaurants and the downtown area. The staff were all very helpful and we especially enjoyed the joyful temperament of the Italian owner. Breakfast was good and typical for this country...

this place is really nice and easy to reach. We had a very good breakfast in the dining room at top of the wooden roof, trees and plants in the outside small garden gave me a real resting moments! The staff was really friendly and "useful": anything you may need, they will help you in any case! The road it's...

A lovely hotel, situated towards the bottom of the touristy Cerro Alegre hill. Lovely light atrium at the heart, with fire and comfy chairs. Wonderfully welcoming owner (from Bologna - hence all the Italian touches) and probably the best breakfast we had in Chile. Take your earplugs though. It's not a busy road, but the combination of cobbled road and...

Stay at this charming hotel if you are looking for a home away from home. It's not super fancy and it was a bit cool in June, but that is counter balanced by the warmth of the staff (the owner is gregarious and kind), the great beds and a magnificent breakfast--and a terrific location! I highly recommend Valparaiso and this...

This hotel reminds me of old Europe. The BEAUTIFUL hardwood floor (that I wish I could have brought back with me), the old-fashioned room key, and the antique fireplace in the living room all add to its old world charm. But what makes it an extra-special place is its owner, Enrico. From the walking tour to the weekend flea market,...

I stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is conveniently located on a steep street near the overground Metro, buses and trolley buses - it's not right at the top of the old town where some of the other smaller hotels/hostels are located. Reception e mailed me in English very good directions from the bus station, which were...

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights in March. The room was very comfortable, and the interior was SO cute! It really felt like you were staying somewhere authentic. There wasn't an elevator, but this wasn't a problem at all. The location was also a very convenient walk to all of the main attractions (although like most places...

This small hotel clings to the hillside in a cute narrow street that winds it's way up the hill. The old building is nicely renovated with lots of it's original character still there. Our room was pleasant with a view out onto the street. It was fairly plain, but had the convenience of an ensuite bathroom and a TV. Bed...

Since we were only staying for one night we took a twin bedded room with one bed up a flight of stairs along with the bathroom and one bed downstairs. The best thing about this room was that it was on the ground floor, so we could just roll our suitcases in - really appreciated that in Valparaiso! The staircase...
