I and my husband stayed at Mercure Santiago Centro (02th January at 07th January) and we didn’t like our stayed. I am very allergic to shrimp (prawn). At restaurant I ordered a menu with this description” Sealed Salmon in a Mussels and tomato broth with Basil, served with Sweet Potato Gratin and Mix of Vegetables” . My plate was served...

Very well located in Santiago, easily accessible by the metro system. Hotel rooms, features and cleanliness are decent and up to Mercure's standards. The hotel has a (small) pool that overlooks the city. Breakfast food was just average, though.

This is a great hotel right in the centre of Santiago. Shops just a short walk away. Our room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the city, overlooking Biblioteca Nacional. Breakfasts were great. The free WiFi was a bonus. The staff were very helpful in helping to arrange an excursion to he Andes on our free day.

We have stayed in several occassions at this hotel during the past two months - this is the best hotel in Santiago center. The location is simply great, the rooms towards Santa Lucia and the National Library offer an unbeatable view. La Moneda is at waling distance, the Parque Forrestal and the nicen neighborhood "Las Tablas" are 20 min. and...

For my first visit in Santiago; this hôtel was a great choice. Centrally located, walking distance to a lot of attractions, shopping; dining. Breakfast and Internet included, gym, superb pool and business center. Hôtel gave me a 3:00 pm late checkout; helpful since my flight was in the evening. Hôtel staff also helped me to find a taxi to reach...

I had a short stay in Santiago and this hotel worked well as a base for me, its central and a short walk from locations such as Plaza de Armas and has a metro stop nearby. There was also a marketplace just a couple of buildings away which is worth checking out as a tourist. If you're up early in...

Generic: Quite simple hotel with all the needed facilities. Staff: Most of the staff spoke English, and managed to understand my mediocre Spanish. Helpful when asking for information. Location: As other posters has indicated, this is most probably one of their main selling point. Close to the metro, downtown, and most of the major tourist attractions. Easy to reach from...

I spent one night in Santiago at the end of a South American cruise in December. The Mercure Santiago Centro's main selling point is its location. It is very close to the downtown core and right next to Santa Lucia metro station. There is an artisan market a block away as well as a supermarket about a 10 minute walk...

Recently had a quick business trip to santiago. Very nice and professional staff but compared to their competition this hotel is extremely tired. I have stayed at other Caesar Park hotels (this is a former part of that chain) and the rooms at this hotel have not been upgraded at all since the change over. The carpet in the floor...

The Mercure doesn't look like much from the street, but we were pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They are standard Mercure with standard amenities and breakfast, but standard Mercure is pretty good. The hotel is also a good value. But by far the best thing about the hotel is the location. I wouldn't stay anywhere else as a tourist to...
