This is an affordable elegant, tasteful, sophisticated, classic B&B conveniently located in the heart of Providencia just a few blocks from Metro and major shopping areas including fashionable malls and parks. Very clean and great service. If your travels brings you to Santiago I strongly recommend Vilafranca!

We loved this hotel and spent 6 nights there (3 at the start of our trip, and we returned for another 3 at the end). It has great character and is simple yet has real style - wooden floorboards, traditional furniture, a pleasant sitting/dining room and a charming courtyard at the back for guests to enjoy. The area is quiet...

Nice small hotel in quiet leafy neighbourhood. We enjoyed the small garden. Staff was very friendly and helpful in accomodating our needs. City center is a short subway ride away, and the direct neighborhood features a number of good restaurants at walking distance. Bathroom could use an upgrade.

This B&B is very quaint and the staff, especially Gloria, are all very pleasant and welcoming. It's on a quiet side street, but near shops and restaurants and a short walk to a metro stop. The reason for the 3-star rating may just be particular to the room I had (on the top floor), or to bad luck with guests...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Vilafranca Petit Hotel. We were the first stop on the shuttle bus once we reached Santiago. The night assistant was waiting for us. It was near 11pm. He gave us a quick tour of the dining room and the living room after we checked in, then helped us to our room. The room...

It is some moths ago now, but I think her name is Gloria, the queen of the establishment. We were treated like family, and we felt very much at home. Comfortable beds, really good breakfast, a lovely garden and steep stairs. This is the place to be if you want to stay central in Santiago, and still pay a reasonable...

I wish all BnBs were this great. It's was the perfect place to start my holiday and if highly recommend. Excellent breakfast and comfy bed. Wooden floors make it a little noisy but the service makes up for that! Gloria helped me organise my taxi to the airport and even got up at 3am to see me off!

Having just stayed in several hotels in Argentina and Chile, I can say unquestionably that this was the best I stayed in and a superior hotel/B&B overall. The hotel is a rare older building in a city of nearly all new buildings and has a pretty exterior. The breakfasts were excellent, the wifi strong, the bed comfortable, the furnishings lovely,...

My family stayed here for 1 night while visiting Santiago. This hotel is in a great neighborhood of STGO, Providencia. Very safe and a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The metro is only a few blocks away and easy to find. Vilafranca is a boutique hotel with solid wood floors and beautiful large windows. A nice patio...

We had a great four days and three nights at the Vilafranca. Gloria arranged transportation from the Santiago airport so we were met as we exited baggage claim. That began our very easy and efficient exploration of the city. The neighborhood is vibrant and provides interesting sights as you walk to the Metro station or the mall. The breakfasts were...

“I did not stay in these rooms, but I think the rooms in the back, on the top floor are the best as far as windows and peace and quiet. It might be a little warm up there in the summer, but leaving windows open helps a lot, as it cools off during the night.”
