As of March 2015, the hotel is surrounded by road construction, which when complete will tie the hotel into the beautiful neighborhoods adjacent. Currently it is a bit of an island. The main locational complaint otherwise is that it is at least a 15 minute walk to the subway, but it is an interesting and pleasant walk. The subway system...

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were passing through Santiago. The hotel is very dated. If you want to be near a big American style shopping mall with lots of American chain restaurants this is the hotel for you. If you want a bit more local flavor definitely not. On the plus side, the pool area...

Dear Guest, It is a shame that we couln´t meet your expectation. Maybe if had tried one of our 3 restaurant it would have been more pleasent for you. all the best for the future. Marc Lorenz

We had a great time at this hotel! We bookended our trip to Chile staying here and loved it. Only complaint is... why no free coffee in the morning? Or why not sell it at a little coffee shop in the morning? You have to do the huge buffet breakfast in the morning or walk a ways to find coffee....

Dear Guest, I am very pleased you enjoyed your recent saty with us at the Grand Hyatt Santiago. I will take into consideration your request for the free coffee, but maybe for your next visit if you stay in the club lounge floor you have free coffee all day. I hope to welcome you back very soon. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Santiago, Chile while attending a business event the week of March 16 to 20, 2015. Even though the room and ambiance was very good, other aspects of the service were so poor as to have me rate the overall experience TERRIBLE. One day the main elevators were not working at all. As a result,...

We arrived at the Hotel about 11:00 am; they had been completely sold out the night before so our rooms were not ready. We asked if we could take showers at the Spa and they said of course! Here comes the really terrific part, we travel a lot and many times the rooms are not ready and you have to...

The service and room both were great. But I was impressed enormously on its executive lounge. You have more than 180 degree view of the Andes and city. You have many many choices of the food and alcohol drinks. You know Chile is a wine country as soon as you walk into the gigantic lounge after 4:00pm. Great staff, great...

I've never stayed in a bad Hyatt chain. Hyatt at Santiago is very good. All the staff speaks good English and service is impeccable. I had the best massage so far in this trip at their spa. Their swimming pool looks so nice and huge. Only downside is it is not heated. I've to pray then jump in and swim...

Stayed with family for 4 nights. Rooms are spacious and clean, but the overall feel of the place is old. I even got a old-style TV (not LED, not flat), electronics inroom are old-fashioned as well, e.g. a very old stereo set and a very old plug station. The room setup is exactly the same as I stayed 10+ years...
