I stayed a few nights at this hotel in february, 2013. I wasn't lucky enough to stay at the San Cristobal tower, and instead had to stay at the old tower. Lobby, bar and restaurants are really nice, but rooms are really outdated. It looks like a very old hotel, and doors don't even have "the thing" that closes the...

Dear MariRR27; Thanks for posting your review about your experience here in Sheraton Santiago. I'm sorry that you get in the first place a smoking room, but I’m glad that you get a new room instead. We have a renovated plan, which we started with common areas like lobby bar, pool area and restaurant and we just finished the last...

I recently stayed here for a quick business trip. I arrived Monday morning and stayed for 2 days before Heading back to the US. I stayed in room 502, but was privileged to have breakfast the first day in the club lounge, the 7th floor. Breakfast was sufficient-- cheeses, cold cut meats, fruit, eggs, bacon, potatoes, really good olive bread,...

We stayed here one night with a tour group. It was the best hotel on the whole trip. The rooms are large and well appointed. The evening snacks and drinks on the 21st floor were enjoyable. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The only setback was what was offered for breakfast. It was completely inadequate and poorly presented,...

Dear JustJohnPortageMI; I am very concerned about your comment about our breakfast service at the 21st, Fl. I am sharing this information with our Executive Chef in order to find out if there was any problem during those days. We usually get very good comments about food quality and presentation of this service. My best regards, Howie Brown General Manager

A very nice lobby greeted us upon our arrival and I was hopeful for similarly appointed rooms. No such luck. My Starwood Gold Elite status got me an old, very cramped, dingy, lower floor room with a rusty shower and moldy bathroom. No recognition of my Starwood status whatsoever, even though I let them know this was my last credited...

Just returned from a week long conference here. It works very well as a conference hotel. Excellent meeting rooms etc. The service was good though staff were challenged when a lot of people wanted service at once. The room on the Club Floor was okay and the bed excellent. Aircon was adequate for mornings and nights but couldn't keep up...

We stayed at the Sheraton Santiago twice in October, at the beginning and at the end of a two week holiday in Chile. Both stays were superb and we could not fault the hotel or the service. The location is excellent, about a 20 minute walk to the Bellavista area with it's great restaurants and bars. A shuttle bus takes...

I stayed here during a business trip. I had stayed at this hotel several years ago and thought the service then could not be any better, yet they exceeded my expectations during this trip. Avoid room 539. Besides the normally faded appearance of all the guest rooms, this room had no working air conditioning, the water in the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and the room still had a smell of cigarette smoke. The two twin beds were both uneven and you rolled one way or another. It's always hit or...

My husband and I have just returned from Chile. This hotel is sharing common areas with another wonderful hotel, San Cristobal Tower, where we stayed the first week of our stay. We subsequently passed two nights (with a week outside of Santiago in between) at the Sheraton. Sheraton, in comparison to its neighbor, was a great disappointment. The hallways and...

We arrived at the hotel at 4am, as we made the check in, the concierge, told us we had "smoking rooms", weird, since we requested NON smoker rooms. We asked to have the rooms changed but the concierge assured us we wouldn't even notice the smell, "because in this hotel, we take good care of our guests". Each of us...
