It's the filthiest, scariest and generally worst hostel I've ever seen. Most people staying there are old crazy alcoholic men who live there. There's no staff, other guests may open the door, if they're in, if not you'll be left out. No sheets or anything given, disgusting rooms with filthy mattresses and blankets which haven't been washed in years. Horrendous...

Good hostel. Cheap and clean with all off the facilities that you need. There is a good feeling in the hostel and a friendly atmosphere that is set by Eveline. The hostel is also extremely well located. You won't find better for the price.

Bathroom and kitchen are very good and clean and there is a very easy relaxed atmosphere around the place. Rooms leave a bit to be desired and be very careful with your things because there is next to no security. However the hostal is fine for the price that you are paying. Expect what you pay for! Location is good!

Would definitely recommend this hostel. One of the cheapest of the city, with a friendly staff which don't try to con you like it was the case for us in other hostel such as the Chile Lindo Hostel. The Horizonte Hostel is well situated in the Brazil neighborhood, which features many bars. It's a very safe area, even by night....

Stayed here just for one night to catch an early bus. Was fine if your just sleeping but don't go here if you want to stay a while. Full of peculiar people and out of town. Beds were definitely not clean and under the bunk was lots of rubbish- definitely needed a hover! However quite spacious with a big kitchen.

I strongly recommend this hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the kitchen and the living room very cozy and comfortable, eveywhere is very clean, and feel like being in your own home. The Internet connection is very fast and reliable, and we had a good sleep in the 8- bed dormitory. Definitely recommended! :) THANK YOU! GRACIAS!

Place was nice for what you pay. Friendly staff, close to downtown, and cheap as hell. Bed was comfortable and relaxing. The residents are usually nice (I say that because the owner ensures that locals and "bad vibe" people don't stay there so that they wont try to take advantage of foreigners). I would certainly go back. I would highly...

This is the only negative experience of a hostel I've had in 2 months in SA. We stayed here for three nights and then moved to another hostel in bella vista. Theres nothing terrible about this hostel, but it is cold and quite unclean... The kitchen is quite pretty and well equipped but really grimy, you really need to wash...
