The location of this hostel is great and the staff are mostly very friendly. However the WiFi in the hostel is terrible (shonky router and slow connection). The hostel is dirty, expect your feet to be black from these floors. The toilets/showers are cleaned too infrequently (no TP, dirty hand towels and giant hair balls in shower and stinking shower...

Santiago Backpackers provided great facilities in a building conveniently located in the center of Santiago. The location is great as it is close enough to the center of town (plaza de arms...) and is also at a walking distance to the entertaining Barrio Bellas Artes as well as the beautiful Bellavista area. It is highly secure as there is a...

The hostel is in the center of the city. He is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful to every one. It is little bit hot in the room in summer but it is OK. I had a great time staying there thank alot. ההוסטל נמצאת במרכז העיר. הוא מאוד נקי. צוות מאוד נחמד ומועיל בכל שאלה. קצת...

Originally planned to be here for only a few days, one week later and I found myself an amazing international family. Good location near the Plaza de Armas metro stop and a great environment! There are 2 outdoor porches and an indoor living room. Wifi can be spotty but with a lot of people, understandable. Breakfast is crepes with different...

Good value for money, friendly staff was probably most memorable. Location, kitchen, etc were all fine. No fee to store luggage. There was not a "super fun" crowd when I stayed there but I think that's luck of the draw and less of a reflection on hostel. Would stay here again either way.

10 min walk to Mercado Centro, the parks, Bellavista, supermarkets, cero santa lucia, and plaza de armas. it is pretty central to everything. Fairly clean rooms and common areas, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Security is great, where they can see everyone who enters. Kitchen and open areas are nice and big, easy access to the main streets to...

Firstly upon arrival I had recently had my passport stolen. This was quite late at night and the staff member tried her best to help me although her English was not great. I did however get to know the staff well and everyone was very helpful and there are a number of proficient English speakers in the Hostel. Even wehn...

We stayed in the luxurious appartment, which is two blocks away from the hostel. 23floor, so a beautiful view, but very much noise from the streets. So you need earplugs to get some sleep. Also no cleaning and no new towels for seconden night. Breakfast is at the hostel, pancake was oké, but rest is a bit of a bummer....

Hi Denise, thanks for your review. Normally we get a los of compliments for the great view to the Andes, but not many about noise up there. Still, when staying in downtown we it's difficult to stay out of noise but we have other units facing the other side for people who is noise sensitive; the view though won't be...
