Princesa Insolenta was a great hostel to stay in we enjoyed it. It is in Barrio Brasil which is cool if I go back I will stay in Bellavista neighborhood instead. Even with the location Princesa Insolenta was still a great hostel and was close enough that taxis were not expensive.

The hostel has a great location . It is very close to the subway and the staff is very helpful and patient. The rooms are spacious and always clean. The only negative point is the bathroom. There are only two showers that besides being very small , few for the amount of people that the hostel behaves.

We booked this place, as the reviews were quite good.. but what we found there was not what we expected. We booked a double room with private bathroom. The room was OK, the bathroom not. Leaking sink, mouldy shower, towels with strange smell.. The breakfast (included if you book private room) was good. What we found out is that the...

Hostel checked all the boxes; -big, well stocked kitchen. Saw it get cleaned daily and very social area as many people cooked each night. Made a great opportunity to meet others (and share what you were making) -supermarket a couple blocks away with many others between the hostel and the city centre -spacious dorms with individual lights and outlets, warm...

Very sociable hostel with attentive staff. Location is a little out from the centre. Could be better, rooms dark, doors creaking, prices seemed to change everyday, you make your own bed (even when arrive late), it is not pointed out there are seperate bathrooms when arrive. Room for improvement.

We stayed in a private en suite room for a week. Pros: good location, near restaurants and two metro stations, nice atmosphere in the hostel, comfy double bed, good shower. Good breakfast included in the private room price and the room itself was good value. Cons: the window in our room was covered by a very light wicker blind that...

Location is not the best. Not enough toilets. Having some problems in currency exchange rate. But have electric plug and lamp for each bed, this is a remarkable point. And cheap. Just USD 11.00 a night!
