this place is great! the building has a lot of character, old building maintained to keep its charm. spacious rooms, clean, super huge kitchen pros - clean, warm blankets, clean bathrooms with changing space .. our booking included breakfast on the printout however it was apparently supposed to be extra, but they included it anyway. breakfast is cooked eggs and...

You won't be dissapointed, imagine its the nineteen twenties and going somewhere new still really meant something. There's an echo of that here. The bathrooms are silent and huge, the rooms wide and comfortable, the back courtyard something of lore. And also, obviously, the people in such a place are wonderful.

Myself and two friends stayed here for 3 nights overall and were very impressed. The staff were very helpful, particularly Sergio who went out of his way to help us in anyway he could, including our ski trip. The room was lovely and clean, showers were hot and good wifi. There's a huge communal kitchen that's very well equipped and...

Wow - the moment you step into Casa Roja you see the scale of how big the hostel is. Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in South America which I've been traveling for over a year now. The hostel has a bar, pool table, HUGE industrial kitchen, pool in the garden as well as tv rooms and a...

Big rooms, lots of space not a party hostel though not many people seem to be going out and the rooms are so cold without heating. Good enough for summer. Alright for a few days wouldn't be rushing back however. Doesn't include breakfast not even tea not sure on that one

Great location Quiet rooms but sociable bar with free pool table, and TV. Good wifi Friendly staff Delicious, affordable food Comfy beds Plentiful, clean, hot showers. The only thing that was a problem was following their map directions from the bus station to the hostel. Took us a good hour of walking as directions are unclear and slightly inaccurate.

La Casa Roja is a big old house with very beautiful roofs so it could be mistaken by a little castle. I stayed there for a long time, way longer than I planned on. It has, like a lot of hostels I have been to, a nice location, good rooms and a really pretty outside area with pool and bar....

The hostel was really clean and showers were very powerful and hot. Breakfast wasn't included in the price but was really reasonable and very tasty....and served up by a really friendly lady! The weather...
