Good hostel, all you need. Good pool and bar area. Everyone is very sociable. Rooms are good and staff are great! Loads of people in the evenings sit around the pool and happy to talk. Make sure you have the BBQ. Safe place to leave your belongings also. Don't hesitate to book.

Massive hostel, with a nice pool and outdoor area, cricket nets and little rock climbing wall, breakfast is good too but not included, comfy beds and the rooms aren't too hot, also they have huge lockers that fit all your stuff. So many areas to hang out u can either keep to yourself and relax or make friends and party.

Large hostel with nice rooms and a great pool with bar. Ideally located, highly recommend! The beer isn't too expensive which is a bonus as you can't bring your own alcohol. I didn't try the breakfast but heard it was great

La Casa Roja was one of the best hostels I've ever been. Pool, a big kitchen with all you need to do your own meal, nice people working on the hostel, big rooms, a nice shower. The location is very good too. You have facilities to the green and red lines of metro, bus, restaurants nearby, supermarkets...forget about Providencia! That...

This is likely my favorite hostel I have ever been to. Of course everyone has different criteria and expectations, but La Casa Roja had everything I could ever want from a hostel. I would really recommend it. The building is amazing: 20 foot ceilings, neoclassical details, huge windows and rooms, two courtyards and an outdoor pool in the back. It...

I had a great time at this hostel, the staff is cool, there's always something happening and the location is good too. It was so good staying there that I extended my staying in Santiago to enjoy the hostel and the friends I made there a bit more. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the outdoor area is awesome.

We moved to La Casa Roja after a terrible experience at another hostel around the corner. The staff were super nice and helpful. The hostel is housed in an old mansion and offers lot's of space. There are plenty of areas to hang out, including the comfy couches and tables and chairs outside by the pool. The kitchen is great...

Stayed for 4 nights in the dorms, rooms were spacious and clean. The building is huge with lots of quiet areas to chill out including the massive garden area. Staff were more than happy to help with great travel advice. Also the pool is the best way to cool off in Santiago!
