The La Casa Roja building is amazing. Lovely high ceilings and sweeping corridors with lots of large open common areas. The outdoor area is great and the pool is well kept and clean. The hostel itself though needs a good clean and the bathrooms definitely need to be cleaned more regularly, but there are lot of them so you are...

I just wanted to comment on these two staff members who made my stay so much more enjoyable. We had a couple of great free tours and Pacho really looked after us and was so cool and friendly. Valentina was so helpful and professional on the front desk. Thanks guys for making my stay so fun!

I expended a few days in La Casa Roja and I would come back anytime! It was a very pleassure experience, because of the charming people and the awesome Francisco, who made everything to ensure our fun. Thanks to him I knew beautiful places as Cajon del Maipo and others, besides he took us to awesome bars and dancing places....

I stayed at La Casa Roja a couple of times in between transit to other cities and it has been wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms have high ceilings and plenty of room to spread out. There are tons of common areas to relax both inside and outside. The back patio has lots of green area, a pool...

Stayed in an 8 bed dorm.. was a great sized ver spacious room. Lovely helpful staff. Great swimming pool out the back to cool off after wandering around the city! Only one shower working upstairs but still managed to not have to wait!

This place has everything you need including a pool and heaps of common areas to chill out. Staff are friendly and helpful. The old building has plenty of character and my 4 bed dorm had curtains separating the bunks for a bit more privacy. Not the most convenient location for going out.

I arrived with a friend and we had originally only booked 2 nights. We loved the hostel so much we wanted to extend our stay and despite the popularity of the place Nicolas at reception was always more than happy to help, and exceeded our expectations every time. The outdoor pool area is well maintained and spacious. Great for social...

I spent two weeks at la Casa Roja and it was a lot of fun! It was better than I expected. The staff is very nice, helpful (they offer also daily tours where you meet a lot of new people) and if you treat them friendly they make you feel like your part of the big family. Even in the...

Myself & a friend, 2 female backpackers originally booked into La Casa Roja for two night's. We then decided to extend our stay in Santiago another 5 night's as we really loved it here. The pool was the big deciding factor but the hostel itself was fab. Big clean kitchen, big room's, great atmosphere & the staff were just brilliant...
