the place changed property about 1 year ago and now is run by a friendly alternative lawyer and his wife. However most things are sorted out by a manager that speaks fluent german and english. Everything is fine, place is quiet and clean, they have infos for all you want to do in the area. Breakfast is good. They have... More

Very cozzy and welcoming place! The host is very kind and helpful! They have hot showers despite of the fact they're only shared. It is well located! There is a supermarket very close. Around 50 meters. We surely recommend! This place

We stayed here on and off for three months..we were made to feel at home at all times. Everyone was really friendly and kind. The rooms are a little noisy as the floors are a bit creaky, and the hot water could be a bit sporadic. Breakfast simple but sufficient : yoghurt, fruit, bread, tea/coffee.

Good location, just around the corner from the supermarket and close to the centre. Great place but a few things good be better. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest. As it is a wooden building it can be noisy, although for us it wasn't a problem. Showers weren't always hot and the boiler kept going out because of the wind. The... More

La Torre Suiza is located in the center of Villarrica City near to the bus station, shops, banks, travel agencies etc. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place, all made of wood, is very welcoming. But tje noise insulation is poor since it's a old wooden house so yoi can hear other guests walking or snoring. We got... More

Having realised that things happen when they happen with bus travel, we arrived in Villarrica late at night after late departure in Santiago, and a little exhausted, to find on arrival at La Torre Suiza very friendly faces including a couple who had been traveling with our daughter previously in Ecuador and Peru only months before. The welcome was fantastic.... More

We stayed at La Torre Suiza for 5 nights waiting for weather to clear for a hike. Though it never did, we absolutely loved our stay. The volunteer staff was exceptionally helpful as were the owners. We stayed in a double room with shared bath. Each floor has at least one bathroom w/ shower, and there are two on the main... More

We stayed in Villarrica for 3 nights at this charming hostel. The couple running it were charming and friendly and looked after their guests well. The place was clean and well maintained and kitchen facilities were good. Excellent computer and wifi with good advice on local trips and sights too.

“Try for the room on the first floor with the view of the volcano. This is room only but the bathrooms were close by and very clean. If you want a room with its own bathroom then the room on the same level fronting onto the street is excellent and not noisy. We were"upgraded" to this room given our greying hair!!”
