I had tried several budget accommodation at SG however none could beat this. It was clean and tidy and importantly beside seven eleven. I took a Japanese style room and my little one loved it. The location wasn't bad and everything was in walking distance. The lady downstairs was helpful

The staff were very helpful and pleasant and check-in and check-out was a breeze. The room on the ground floor had a separate bathroom with shower,...

We had the family room which was spacious enough for the four of us - and considering you are in Singapore the price is amazing. Our hosts were very nice and helpful and the area allows a nice walk to Little India or public transport to get out and eat. Street noise was a small issue but for what we...

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a really enjoyable stay. My room was spotlessly clean with a lovely big wet room, tv and free wifi. The lady on reception was particularly helpful and friendly , she gave me really good directions and lots of ideas for places to eat etc. The location is ideal, with just a short...

We stayed in the Mayo Inn for a couple of nights recently and would recommend it for a budget hotel. The location is good - in little India, near the MRT and Bugis (shopping malls, markets, food stalls) and in walking distance to other attractions. The rooms are basic but clean (and with air-con, a good shower, fridge, tv and...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
