We recently had our first holiday together without our children in over 6 years. The hotel is nice and clean enough, the buffet breakfast is well stocked with lots of options. The staff always friendly and helpful. Location wise we like that it was away from the central tourist area. So many bus options, MRT is a short walk and the food options are plentiful and delicious. I would happily stay there on our next trip.
I've booked this hotel in February 2021 to experience a Staycation in the Alexandra area but hotel was "Closed" due to activation by Singapore Govt for Covid-19 situation. Months after months of rescheduling ( Emails by Reservations Team ) again & again due to uncertainty of Covid-19 circumstances, Park Hotel Alexandra was finally Open once again for Staycations due to my delight in March 2021. I was welcomed by the sights in the area when I arrived in which I was looking forward to explore. ( Ikea, Food Centre's, Queensway Shopping ) Check In was done swiftly & room was given to me. To my delight, I have got the room facing the city area & swimming pool which I appreciated as it was breath taking watching the views around. Room assigned was on 13th floor and room was kept clean and in good condition! Bathroom was not big by standards but good enough and kept clean. Forgot to mention that room as a corner partial open view to the room which made it look outstanding! Bed and pillows was very comfortable and had a very good rest! Thanks to the team at Park Alexandra Hotel for making my Staycation Delightful! "Worth" the 1 year wait ! …
Great place to stay clean room friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Good price for room rates. Staff very helpful about the areas around the hotel an where to go. Recommend stay for business or day trips.
Hotel is at close proximity to many tourist attractions. MRT Bus stand is very near and buses are easily available for all parts of the city . Good eating joints nearby so delivery is easy . Overall good
Park Hotel Alexandra is excellent hotel in Alexandra Area in close proximity to queens town area of Singapore. Lot of Eating points with Indan, Thai and Malaysian and Chinese food options are near by and good connectivity
Grear customer service, willingly to help us to change to another room upon our request. Room is reasonably clean (other than seeing a few ants), bed is comfortable, toiletries smell great, breakfast is good, price is reasonable, love the swimming pool, and we will come back here again for staycation!!
We booked a Club Room so that we benefited from cocktails and nibbles early evening and room should be a slight upgrade to a normal room. We had a 9 year old granchild so would have expected a large double bed, not in this hotel, standard size double. Club facilities were absolutely terrible, nobody told us that Club lounge was closed and we needed to go to pool bar for drinks and snacks at Club time. The really hostile barmaid told us that it was strict one hour period and only option was Chardonnay, Merlot or Singha beer, all the cheapest options available in Singapore. I asked where the "snacks" were and was told that chef had to prepare per guest. The barmaid went away and came back with Satay sticks (not sure if it was Veal or Meat), a savoury potato ball with seafood inside and a slice of purple bread, all of which were disgusting, we had no choice at all. The service was diabolical and quality of food and drink certainly the worst that I have ever had in Club Room hotel before. I have stayed in a huge number of Club Room Hotels in Asia and I can safely say that this is by far the worst i have stayed at and would NEVER recommend the hotel to anyone.! Avoid at all costs.!!!!…
Front desk staffs are nice & good for thing inquired - like where to take bus, book taxi for guests, change towels in room and clean up everyday. Breakfast is abundant. Swimming pool is clean and good leisure facilities.
Chanced upon a good deal for a suite room and went ahead with the booking that very morning. Loved the spacious room and the cleanliness, however the room was rather dim for my liking. Had a good sleep and breakfast was good too. Would have loved to swim but due to wet weather the pool was closed. Overall enjoyed my stay and would come back again.
Room is clean and comfortable during the 1-week stay but the lighting was quite dim and breakfast tend to be the same for almost every day. However, the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and there is an IKEA just next door in case you would like some meatballs.
