Stayed at on the 13 floor and views were ok. Room was clean and tidy but starting to look a little tired. The room had all facilities and great air conditioning. Breakfast in the hotel was average so if you have time there are plenty of alternatives. All the staff we very good and helpful.

We stayed at the Excelsior for two nights on a Singapore Airlines stopover package and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. The hotel is situated in a great position a few minutes walk from City Hall MRT station and just across the road from the beautiful St Andrews Cathedral with plenty of shopping close at hand. The hotel itself was... More

There's nothing to really fault with this hotel, but there's nothing particularly notable about it either. Certainly for the price, it's great value for expensive Singapore. The room was very comfortable, and the WiFi was good. The bathroom has a strange walk-through shower arrangement, but at least it wasn't over the bath tub. I would stay again.

The location could not be bettered...between Raffles and Boat Quay...we upgraded to include breakfast but our room overlooked the construction site, noisy even from the 16th floor. 1 of 3 elevators was out of action.....chaos breakfast/checkout time. And strange...Reception on the 5th floor.Room appointments were good and room was sizeable.

We stayed at the hotel for a day only in October 2016 on way to Bali , Indonesia. The room was nice and had all the things one would expect in a star hotel. The hotel is opposite a mall with food courts including Indian veg.one . (though closed due to Diwali festivals. ) and 7X11 store round the corner.More than... More

Adequate hotel by Singapore standards, although it is actually two hotels sharing a common reception. We were warned that the rooms in the Peninsular were pretty tired, although we never got to confirm this, we were quite happy with our room in the Excelsior side. service was great and the location is AWSOME! Best points were the sky garden, prices... More

We stayed at this hotel early November 2016. The room we had was OK however it was a room at the back of the Excelsior Tower and was on a corner. We overlooked a building site which had previously been a shopping mall and also the air conditioning units which were noisy. Housekeeping was a bit slow on sorting our... More

We stayed at this hotel recently. The location is good. The rooms are ok. The beds are rock hard. But as far as hotels go it's ok. The most disappointing thing is waking up in the morning and going to breakfast. The buffet breakfast looks ok. The choice of food is limited but stardard fare. The one thing you notice... More

Myself and my friend had been travelling around for a while and decided to treat ourselves and stay in a 4star hotel. The hotel itself was nice, in a good location but overall we were disappointed. The staff were not very helpful, it took us 3 separate attempts to go upto the sky bar. Also we had a transfer booked... More

The hotel located at good location - walk distance to center of Singapore. Room services, facilities are good; high hygiene standard (Singapore's famous :)). Breakfast is average - sufficient for energy recharging, nothing special for breakfast.
