A very friendly, warm hotel. It's located just a few minutes walking from the MRT station. You can easily find necessary things in the markets around with many fruit and clothing stores. There are also a lot of food courts with Hindu,Asian or Western style dishes.Have a good time

Stayed here for 7 nights and must say very convenient location and such helpful and friendly staffs. The hotel is new and nothing to complain about and great place for budget travelers. The mrt is a walking distance from the hotel and next door restaurant offers good breakfast and meals .

This hotel says it includes breakfast, they actually just send you to the small restaurant next door and you've got a selection of 6 different singaporean dishes, spicy noodle soup and that's about it.. anything else must be paid for. I wouldn't stay here again. There are much better places in Singapore, which would be a lot closer to the...

My parents visited me from overseas, and we were let down by my accommodation host upon arrival, and was forced to make an immediate change. Based on past experience, I called Champion Hotel and fortunately they had a room available. It was three single beds, not a double and a single, but for immediate arrival we were grateful to have...

room is clean, comfort to stay in. Got hair dryer and other things. Staff is friendly. Location though kind of far from MRT, but safe and quiet. Will go back to stay here again. If you want a good budget hotel, I recommend this one.

I love this small hotel. It's affordable yet so convenient if you want to go around the city. It's near a milk tea house that serves one of the best milk teas I've ever tried!:D I also love the lobby's scent. It's so clean and refreshing.:)

Had an amazing stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located around 5-10 min walk from the Paya Lebar MRT station, as well as similar distance away from 2 other malls. There are many eateries as well as supermakets and convenience stores around the hotel, which makes this hotel very ideal for travellers who want to seek local flavours. Check-in...

Staying in Joo Chiat

Neighbourhood Profile
Joo Chiat
The Joo Chiat area is the traditional home of Peranakan culture in Singapore, an ethnic group descending from the blending of Chinese and Malay families in the 15th century. The neighbourhood is packed with colourful shops, local characters, and quiet charm. The main streets overflow with diners enjoying katong laksa, the signature Peranakan spicy noodle soup. Signs of youthful entrepreneurship are visible as well, with modern cafes, bars, and shops abounding. Visit Joo Chiat to take a break from the big city sights and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a laid-back and local vibe.
