The best thing, I found, about this hostel was the people. Of course it's not always a guarantee, but the friendly staff and the comfortable lounge/kitchen space encouraged people to hang out together. Overall, the hostel was comfortable and clean and I would definitely stay...More
Stayed over christmas 2017 and it was the best way to start my trip. The staff are very friendly, very informative and helpful. The scooter tour was a great way to meet new people and our host was brilliant (Benji). Staying here is great for...More

2. They charge you $5 SGD to store your bag the next day (conflicting with their statement on hostelworld, "We understand the needs of budget travelers"). I've never, ever had a hostel or hotel charge this...More

With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers,
fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

Hi Yohanna, I'm sorry to keep you waiting so long for a reply. The scooter tour is in the evenings but not every day, I believe it was on Sunday and again on Wednesday evening while I was there but I missed out both times because I did not book in advance. It is very popular. The time is around 6pm but flexible depending on the weather.
