Negatives 1) We paid to stay in 8 bed dorm, we were put in a 12, when we asked they said they "keep a few beds unoccupied" yet every night there was at least 9 of us. 2) our room had door leading to balcony so every night we would have everyone coming in and out our room 3) Toilets...

I never realized that i was going to be having so much fun at this hostel. The staff are friendly and open, the wifi is not too bad, breakfast could be better however there is one thing that beats them all. The Scooter Tour. It is a little dangerous in the beginning however after a while it just gets epic....

There's always that notion that Singapore is expensive. Well, it is in a lot of ways however if you know where to go, what to do and where to stay, it's still possible to enjoy Singapore without spending and splurging a lot. One place best to stay if you're in a budget in The Inncrowd Backpackers Hostel. It's located at...

We stayed here for 4 nights as a couple in a dorm room. Location is ok, it's only a minute walk to the station, or a half an hour walk into the city. The facilities are good including shared kitchen and bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't do the scooter tour because I wasn't feeling well...

Singapore is expensive but at InnCrowd you find a very good hostel at I think the lowest rate in the city. Little India is fun and the hostel is just meters away from a metro station which is very convenient. Don't forget to do the scooter tour, it's so much fun!!

We were in a much nicer and cheaper hostel nearby but they were fully booked and we wanted to extend so moved here. The difference was drastic - smelly toilet, old rooms require renovation, terrible mattress where I could feel every spring and poor breakfast (margarine instead of butter, toast, jam in a dirty squize container, boiled egg and no...

We stayed as a couple. They have a lot of dormitory rooms but we were able to get a room for 2. The staff were very accommodating. From the time of our booking, we were able to arrange to Ping and Daniel. A stone throw away from MRT Rochor station. From Little India station, you can ride MRT to Chinatown....

I had a really good time in Singapore and this hostel helped me to get a lot of friends. Good vibes and the staff was nice. They were sending me a mail how to travel the cheapest and easiest way from the airport. They also have a really good scooter tour for free, this is how I saw the hole...

I really loved staying at this hostel, not only it was under my budget, the place was also awesome. The best part of my stay was the Free Kick Scooter Tour which was organized by the hostel management which was just amazing. If you are a solo traveler then you definitely must stay here.

Ok so first of all this hostel is clean, has a good toilet and shower area, they have a free breakfast as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. The staff are also nice and helpful. It is also ideally located very close to the metro. HOWEVER This is the strangest place I have ever stayed! We went with...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
