The hotel was in a decent location about 5 minutes brisk walk to 2 train stations. The staff at the reception area were very friendly and efficient, although I found the rooms to be a bit small for the price, they were very clean and nicely done. They also unfortunately do not serve complimentary breakfast. The only problem I faced...

Checkin went smoothly enough although they are currently using a temporary reception as the foyer is not complete yet and my taxi had some difficulty locating the correct entrance. Went to the room after checkin and found the bed was very short I am quite tall but the hotel appeared to have majority international guests so this should be expected....

Room is clean. Quite... Bed is great. Bath room is small. Lobby under renovation. Towels are clean. There is a small Wash stand located outside the bath room which can easily make floor wet. Overall, for those without young children and need a good place to sleep, this is a great choice.

formerly BIG Hotel, Hotel G is a new capsule hotel at the Middle Road/Bencoolen Street junction (taxi entrance is on Bencoolen Street). The rooms are small, as one would expect, but well laid out and have everything needed for a short stay. Ideal for a business traveller - there is a desk, WiFi and good lighting. . The staff are...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Front desk are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room was on the 13th floor. Room is basic, small, and clean. Our floor has a water dispenser and so you can freely fill up your water bottle and never get dehydrated as you explore the sights and sounds Singapore. Hotel is close to shopping...

It's been taken over by new people and is a work in transitition. The main entrance is closed and had to enter through the delivery entrance . The staff is friendly, the rate is reasonable and the location is right downtown. Very small rooms. I'd like to see what it's like when the dust settles, literally .

Stayed for a night. The receptionist was not attending anyone, but was busy inputting some data into the system. Waited for a while but she said nothing about the wait. Perhaps too stressed about the new management system to input data, why not attend the physically waiting guest first and let the data input follow afterwards when guests are not...

Conveniently located on Middle Street but is actually accessed by either Bencoolen St. or Prinsep St. The room was no frills and could have used a little more lighting as it was kind of dark for reading. Not a problem if you're using a Kindle, though. The staff at the front desk were nice, professional and accommodating. They let me...

I was not aware that this hotel was undergoing renovation of its lobby at the time of booking in preparation for rebranding as Hotel G. Stayed overnight for a 22 hr layover. Pros: clean room; good bedsheets; location near Bugis Junction/ Bugis MRT station; food options nearby; water dispenser along the corridor in each floor. Cons: terrible bathroom layout; tiny...
