Already have experiences with hotels (even in less developed countries) but that stay was from far the worst one. Beds were comfortable but that's it for the pro side. Big minus is the hygiene especially in the bathroom, the smell was terrible. Honestly every public toilet was cleaner, even the once in public parks surrounded by tourist attractions. A lot...

The room was timid which was really unexpected. The photo shown in the website are truly with "good angle". The room I stayed is 6 persons dorm in front of gym. The room is so timid and it only holds 6 beds and a small alley. The bathroom is super dirty. It has all the tissues on the wet floor....

We had our family vacation in Singapore last August 2015. We booked at this hostel a day before our flight. If you are a backpacker, this one is best for you. The hostel is affordable and has already a free breakfast. The staffs are really nice. They let us left our baggage even we already checked out during our last...

The hostel is near MRT abou 5-10 min walk, take exit A or G (to City Square Mall) go along Kitchener Road and turn right at Jln Beasar. The room is clean enough but the bathroom is a bit small and it is used by both gender. It depends on your roommates so you may get quiet or noisy room....

Hotel is located in good location, not far from MRT and there are many restaurants and shopping mall in walking distance. bed is comfortable but it's quite hot for the upper bed. Bathroom isn't clean well but still acceptable. In the whole picture, this hotel is ok for me.

The staff is really nice and helpful. also the beds are comfy and give you as much privacy as there can be in a 8-person-dorm. other than that, this place is horrible. - the free breakfast is plain toast with jam. that's it. when we asked for the fruit that was promised in the hotel description the staff just laughed...

The hotel had a problem with our booking, which lead to being waken up by the staff more than 4 times in the morning and in the middle of the night, 9:00 am and 3:30 am (they will just open the courtain without knocking or asking before, so don't expect to have any privacy. Therefore is not worth the extra...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
