The first impression of the room was very messy, untidy, and smelled of cigarretes. Bed sheets were not cleaned and tangled. In addition, there are stains and hair from people who have stayed before. Before leaving hotel for a city tour, we had asked the front desk to clean and change bed linens, sadly when we returned there was no...

The location is good, near MRT station and one open 24-hour shopping mall. Our room was on 3rd floor, the air in the corridor was very bad.Certain bad odor also filled the room. The towels offered in the bathroom were not white,it looked dirty and gray;the pillows smelled very bad. They didn't offer the separate bathroom,so the toilet and sink would be...

Awful hotel. Badly managed. Stinks terribly. Horrible crowd. Strict no for anybody planning to stay there. It must win the award for the most stinking running hotel in the world. Disgrace to hospitality.

I stayed in Concorde Inn for 2 nights in October. It was a torture. The hotel stinks terribly bad. The The towels were the dirtiest towels I have seen in my life. The bed sheet has such dirty sports that I almost puked. There were hardly any channels on Television and the air conditioner wasn't effective. The breakfast was ok...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
